Hart Has A Date

Ok so the big dance is in this chapter. And I'm very excited for it. I have a lot planned for this book.

Maya POV

So I'm still waiting for Brandon to ask me to the dance. He's really great. I have my dressed planned out and everything. I'm normally not into dances, but I'm really excited for this one. I meeting Brandon beside his locker today before lunch because he had to ask me something.

Brandon POV

So I'm meeting Maya today beside my locker. I'm going to ask her to the dance. I really like her and hopefully she feels the same.

I see her waiting beside my locker patiently. I start walking towards her. I flashed her a smile. "So Brandon. What did you want to ask me?" She said. Here goes nothing. "Well um. Will you go to the dance with me?" I asked. She smiled. "YES!" She said as she jumped into my arms.

Riley POV

    I was watching Maya and Brandon from around the corner. Lucas isn't going to be to happy about this. This will break his heart. I have to meddle. Lucas and Maya will never get together if I don't.

*At the Dance next week* No ones POV

Maya was dancing with Brandon. Lucas was dancing alone. Riley and Smackle were fighting over Farkle. Zay and was trying to get Smackle's attention but is failing miserably. Riley decided she would talk to Lucas. "You okay?" She asked. "Yeah. Maya just. Uggh it's so hard. I now know exactly how she felt when she stepped back for you," Lucas said and his head drooped again. Riley felt bad. Now she totally had to meddle.

Brandon went to go get Maya punch. Riley walked up to her and started talking. "So Brandon huh?" Riley asked. "Yeah. He's a real sweetie," Maya said. "So what about Lucas?" Riley asked casually. "Um what about Lucas?" She asked. "Well who would you pick?" Riley asked. "Um. Lu- HEY BRAndon we were just talking about you," Maya said. She flashed him a cute little smile. He handed her some punch. Riley left, feeling successful. She now knew Maya likes Lucas more.

Riley goes back over to Lucas. She's ready to spill. "Hey Lucas!" She said. "Yeah. What's up Riles?" He asked. "Maya still likes you," Riley said, enthusiastically. His face brightened. Then his smile faded. "Wait she also has feelings for Brandon doesn't she?" He asked. Riley nodded slowly. "I need to let Maya be happy. She did it for me, now I need to do it for her," Lucas said.

*The next day* No one's POV

Lucas was walking around when he saw Brandon and Maya. His heart had just been ripped out. He kept waking. He didn't even hesitate. Maya took one look toward Lucas and frowned. She regrets giving up on him, but now she has Brandon.

       Riley saw everything from around the corner. The bell rang and they all say down in Mr.Matthew's room. Riley yelled "Bay Window. Bay Window in 5 hours!" She said, demandingly. Mr.Matthews just buried his face in his hands. "Just go. Go before I change my mind," Mr.Matthews said. The clique six got up and left. Riley grabbed Brandon as well. "You are coming with us," she said to Brandon. Brandon gulped.

*At The Bay Window* No One's POV

         Riley finally got everyone sat down how she wanted them to be sat down. She sat Maya in between Lucas and Brandon on the bay window. She sat Farkle, Zay, and Smackle on her bed, and Riley stood up.

            "Okay!" Riley yelled. "I'm going to point to someone and they are going to state their feelings for a person in the room!" She said. "Brandon?" Riley said as she pointed at him. "I like Maya," he said. "Lucas?" Riley asked. "I also like Maya," Lucas said. Maya smiled a small smile at him. Then she did the same for Brandon. "Maya?" Riley asked. "I don't know. I have different feeling for each of you and I don't exactly know what they are yet," she said as she buried her face in her hands.  
 
         Brandon softly rubbed circles on her back. Lucas took of her hands and held it. Maya honestly had no idea what she is gonna do.
