Age of Ultron part 5: Man vs Robot

     We walk back inside to the house to gather everyone around to make a plan.
          " Ultron took you folks out of play to buy himself time. My contacts all say he's building something. The amount of Vibranium he made off with, I don't think it's just one thing," Fury started.
       " What about Ultron how do we track him?" I ask taking a butterfly picture Lila made for me and one for Nat as well. We both take it with a smile and a hug.
      " Ah. He's easy to track, he's everywhere. Guys multiplying faster than a catholic rabbit.Still doesn't help us get an angle on any of his plans though,"Fury answers.
      " He still going after launch codes," Tony asks.
      " Yes but he's not making headway," Fury says.
      " I cracked the pentagon's firewall in high school for a dare," Tony says.
       " Yeah, well, I contacted our friends at NEXUS about that," Fury says looking at Tony.
      " NEXUS?" Steve asks.
       " It's the world internet hub in Oslo, every byte of data through there, fastest access on earth," Banner answers.
     " So we know he is going after missiles, but those codes are always changing," I says." Do we have an ally?"
     " Yes those codes are changing but by parties unknown," Fury starts. " And to answer your question Ultron's got an enemy but that's not the same thing. Still I'd pay folding money to know who it is."
     " Well these are good times, boss, but I was kind of hoping when I saw you, you'd have more than that." I say looking at Fury.
     " I do, I have you. Back in the day I had eyes and ears everywhere. Here we all are, back on earth, with nothing but our wit, and our will to save the planet. So stand. Out with the platinum bastard."
     " Steve doesn't like that kind of talk," Nat says smiling mischievously at Steve.
     I remember Steve's language problem, lol.
     " You know what Romanoff?" Steve says playfully pointing at her with a smile at her joke.
     " So what does he want?" Loki asks.
      " To become better. Better than us. He keeps building bodies," Steve says.
     " Person bodies. The human form is inefficient, biologically speaking, we're outmodeled. But he keeps coming back to it," I say.
     " Ultron's going to evolve," Banner says," Has anyone been in contact with Helen Cho?"
     " The doctor who stitched up Barton?" Steve asks and Banner nods and then we all realize what he's doing. He wants to be human and robot. We all head to the door," I'll take Natasha and Clint," Steve says grabbing his shield.
" Alright, strictly recon," Tony tells Steve," I'll hit NEXUS, I'll join you as soon as I can." Tony says suiting up.
" If Ultron really is building a body..." Steve starts.
" he'll be more powerful than any of us. An android designed by a robot," Tony finishes.
" I'll drop Banner off at the tower. Do you mind if I borrow Ms. Hill?" Fury asks like we are going to say no.
" She's all yours, apparently. What are you going to do?" Tony asks.
" I don't know. Something dramatic, I hope," Fury says walking out the door along with Bruce.
" And Lily and I must go to Asgard to make sure everything is in order," Loki said grabbing my hand.
" And to make sure the Warriors three and Sif haven't burned the palace down," I say with a chuckle and Loki and I head out to an open field.
" Hemidall, the bifrost if you please?" Loki asks as he looks to the sky. A big flash of color comes out of the sky and I grab on to Loki for protection. We land in the beautiful city of Asgard and I look at the palace and then the realization sinks in as we are walking toward the palace.
Loki notices the concern on my face," my darling what wrong?"
" what if I don't make a good queen?" I ask him intertwining my hand with his.
" My love, why would you ever think that? The people will love you, just like I do." He says and I believe him sort of but he can tell I don't believe him. He stops me we are about twenty feet from the palace. He takes both my hand and looks me in the eye," I am going to prove that the people love you. I am going to check on the palace and you will go put on a pretty dress and we will go to the market place before going to help the avengers."
" But...'' I start but he gives me a peck on the lips and walks away. I am lead to a bedroom by a few maids where a dress is already picked out for me and about fifteen minutes later I am ready. ( see dress above in the picture) I am then escorted to the throne room where Loki is waiting for me to go who knows where.
" You look beautiful darling," he says taking my arm.
" Thank you. So what are we gonna do?"
" We are going into town to show you what Asgard is like," he says with a smile.
So we head into the market place and when we arrive it's bustling with people. Loki goes off to talk with one of the guards so I explore a few of the merchants tables. I find a man selling hand made jewelry," hello miss see anything you like?" The man politely asks.
     " I like this one," I say point to a long necklace on a silver chain with a blue crystal at the end of it.
     " This is one I just made it's would look beautiful on you," he says handing me the necklace.
     " Hello darling, what did you find?" Loki asks putting an arm around my waist.
    " Your majesty, I'm sorry I had no idea this was your bride," he bowed.
    " No need to bow," Loki tells the man as he rises.
   " How much for the necklace?" I ask him still holding the necklace.
   " Take it, consider it a wedding gift," the merchant says.
    " Are you sure?" I question.
   " Of course, anything for my future queen," he said as he bowed his head. I thank the man again and put the necklace around my neck, then take Loki's arm and head to the palace.
    " We should be getting back," I sigh.
   " Of course, let me make sure the warriors three and did know we are leaving," he says giving me a quick kiss. I go put my mission suit back on and by the time I'm back Loki is waiting at the bifrost. We are transported back to Earth and we land in front of avengers tower. Loki and I head up to the lab and we find nobody but Tony and Bruce.
   " What the hell are you doing Tony?" I ask pointing to the cradle that was supposed to make Ultron's body.
    " Turning JARVIS into something touchable," Tony smirks.
   " So you are making JARVIS into what you were gonna do with Ultron?!" I freak.
    " I'm gonna say this once," Steve says storming into the lab with...the twins?!
    " How about 'nonce' " Tony says.
   " Shut it down!" Steve says firmly.
   "Nope, not gonna happen, I already tried Steve," I sigh.
  " you don't know what you're doing," Steve motions.
   " And you do? She's not in your head," Tony says point at Wanda.
   "I know you're angry," Wanda starts as Bruce interrupts.
    " Oh, we're way past that. I could choke the life out of you and never even change a shade."
   " You don't know what in there," Pietro, the male twin, urges.
   " This isn't a game..." I start angrily and Pietro uses his speed to destroy a bunch of lab equipment. Suddenly the glass Pietro was standing on broke as I see Clint with his gun in the corner of my eye. Wanda moves to help her brother but Banner stops her," Go ahead, piss me off."
    Just then Thor flies in and pounds the cradle with his hammer, sending a powerful bolt of lightning that brings the body to life. The red figure flies to the window looking at his reflection," I'm sorry, that was...odd."
     The thing has the voice of JARVIS and we learn his name is vision.
    " Thor, you helped create this thing?" Steve asks.
  " I've had a vision. A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at it's center is that," Thor says as he points to the gem inside Vision's head.
   " What the gem?" I ask.
   " It's the Mind stone," Loki starts," Its one of six Infinity stones, the greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities."
    " Then why would you.." Steve starts.
   " Because Stark is right," Thor states and my mouth drops.
   " Oh it's definitely the end times," Bruce says.
  " The Avengers can't defeat Ultron, not alone," Vision says.
   " Why does he sound like Jarvis?"
    " we.." Tony rolls his eyes," we reconfigured Jarvis' matrix to create something new."
   " You think I'm a child of Ultron," Vision looks toward Steve.
    " You're not?" Steve raises.
   " I'm not Ultron. I'm not JARVIS. I am..." Vision starts as Wanda interrupts.
   " I looked in your head and saw annihilation."
   "Yeah, her seal of approval means jack to me," Clint sighs.
   " Are you on our side?" I snap at vision.
    " I don't think it's that simple," Vision says.
   " Well it better get real simple real fast," I snap back.
   " I'm on the side of life, Ultron isn't, he will end it all ," Vision defends.
   "Where is he?" Steve asks.
   " Sokovia, he's got Nat there to," Clint states.
   " Three minutes," Cap starts," Get what you need."
   Three minutes later we are ready for Captain's orders.
   " Ultron know we're coming. Odds are we're riding into heavy fire and that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is to get them out we need to protect them. And we can get the job done, and find out what Ultron's been building. We find Romanoff and we clear the field. Keep the fighting between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters and we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right," and with steve's pep talk we were off. When we arrived Banner goes to find Nat and that's it but I have a feeling Nat has other plans. The rest of us evacuate the city as Tony meets Ultron. All of a sudden robots come out of nowhere and the ground starts to shake and rise?
    " Tony what's going on?" I ask over coms.
   " Ultron put a vibranium core and a big boost in the middle of it he's planning on raising Sokovia and dropping it causing global extinction," Tony says.
     " Stark you need to worry about brining the city back down safely. " Steve starts," the rest of us have one job: tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt 'em back. You get killed, walk it off."
    I'm fighting with Barton and Wanda as an explosion goes off and we duck for cover. We get into a building and Wanda breaks down crying.
    " hey are you ok?" Barton asks.
    " This is all our fault," she says.
   " Hey. It's your fault, it's everyone's fault, who cares. Are you up for this? Are you? Look, I need to know, cause the city is flying. Okay, look, the city is flying, we're fighting an army of robots, and I have a bow and arrow. None of this makes sense. But I'm going back out there because it's my job. And I can't do my job and babysit. It doesn't matter what you did, or what you were. If you go out there, you fight, and you fight to kill. Stay in here, you're good, I'll send your brother to come find you, but if you step out that door, you are an avenger," he finishes as he and I go to fight more robots. We become over run with robots and a few minutes later Wanda comes from the building using her powers to knock out all the bots.
    " We're all clear here," I say over coms.
   " We are not clear! We are very not clear!" I hear Cap shout over coms.
     " Alright we're coming to you," Barton says.
   Pietro grabs his sister and speeds off and I fly away leaving Barton in the dust. We all catch up to Steve and Nat," Whatcha got stark?"
    " Nothing great. Maybe a way to blow up the city. That'll keep it from impacting the surface if you guys can get clear," he suggests.
   " I asked for a solution not an escape plan," Steve sighs.
   " Cap, these people are going nowhere. If Stark finds a way to blow this rock.." I  start.
    "Not till everyone's safe," he sighs again.
   " I didn't say we should leave," I say," besides where else am I gonna get a view like this?"
   " Glad you like the view, Lily. It's about to get better," Fury says while bringing out Coulson's new helicarrier.
   " Fury you son of a b$&ch," Steve chuckles.
   "Ooooh, you kiss your mother with that mouth," Fury joked.
    Life boats started to be deployed and civilians were loaded onto the carrier which was me, Loki and Rhodes job as the rest of the team fights the robot army. All of a sudden everything went black and I woke up hours later in I don't know.
      " Where am I?" I mumble to Loki who was sitting across hospital room.
    " A avengers facility in upstate New York you were hurt in the attack but you're ok and free to go whenever you feel up to it," he said walking over to me and kissing my head.
   " What happened?" I asked.
    " Pietro died in the battle and Bruce disappeared," Loki sighed.
  " Can you get out so I can get dressed?"  I ask and he nods and leaves then I dress in a shirt and jeans.
    " Can I come in?" Wanda asks from outside the door as I brush my hair.
    " Sure thing, come on in."
    She takes a seat on the bed and I sit next to her," I need your help."
    " Your brother, I know I'm so sorry," I say rubbing her shoulder.
   " I don't what to do anymore, I mean Steve wants me to train and stay but..." she starts.
    " Come to Asgard with Loki and I?" I ask her and she's taken a back.
    " Are you sure?" She asks and I nod.
    " Then sure, when are you leaving?"
    " In ten minutes," I say with an innocent smile.
   With that she goes to pack and in ten she's with me, Loki and Thor out side.
    I hug my friends go by and take Loki's hand as the four of us are whisked to Asgard.
