The Final Battle

Lily's POV
Coulson tells us that the geeks in the science lab have tracked down Thanos and he will be in New York in 3 hours. We've been preparing for the attack for hours making sure the plan is going to go according to plan trying to make sure no one gets hurt. A few hours later I find Loki," I can't believe we're doing this again."
" Neither can I," he sighs and looks at me.
" Will you promise me something?"
I nod.
" After this, no more saving the day, no more avenger dangerous missions, I want you and I to retire and take care of our kingdom. Let the younglings save the day and you and I can be happy. Sound good?"
"Alright, I promise. Just you and me after this," I say giving him a kiss.
" Now we have one last battle to win," I say to him and we head to our positions.
Spider-man's POV---------------
Harley and I have to evacuate Central Park and it's surrounding areas so we get started when we see and explosion come from the middle of Central Park. Law enforcement takes over our job and the plan commences. I hope Harley and I live through this or I won't get my date with my dream girl.
---------Lily's POV-------------
I go into Thanos' lair alone as planned and walk through a maze of hallways before I came face to face with Thanos himself.
" I came to kill you," I state at him.
" You puny asgardian came to kill me? Why? Is it because I killed your mortal sister? She was weak anyway," he laughs.
"My sister was not weak," I spit at him. " I'm not here to talk to you about her. I'm here for your fancy glove Michael Jackson."
" I do not know of this mortal named Michael Jackson but you can't have this I shall have the world in the palm of my hand with this," Thanos says evilly.
" Sure you will Billie Jean," StarLord says coming out the shadows.
" We need that wrist thingy...please," he says sarcastically.
" My army is coming, they will find your doctor and get that stone," Thanos states angrily.
" You're army is already being taken care of as we speak," I state.
" What? How? I haven't even called them to attack," he questions.
" They didn't have to cause we attacked first," I smirk.
"You don't know what you're getting yourself into you puny mortals," he says.
" I'm sure we have a good idea," Gamora says coming into the damp throne room followed by Cap, Luke, Daredevil and Loki.
"You will regret the day you attacked Thanos, God of gods."
We all move in and attack as Thanos uses his magic to deflect us and some of his troops come marching in leaving only Matt and me to deal with Thanos. Within a few moments I get one of the stones off him (we all had gloves on so we can touch the stones), Thanos comes after me I dodge a few strikes from Thanos with his newly found magic capabilities. He's powerful but now with two stones missing he's a bit less powerful. With a few more punches Thanos throws his fist at Matt knocking him out. More aliens start filing into the room as two more avengers join us.
-------Harley's POV------
More aliens are coming from the outside and we hold many of them back but we need to find a way to close that portal.
" Peter anyway to close that portal?" I shout.
" No but Tony is working on it as we speak or fight...you know what I mean," Parker answers still fighting.
" Guys I have a way to close the portal and kill Thanos," Tony says over comms.
"Ok how?" I my mom ask over earpiece as well.
" Blow it up with a bomb I built, it will only blow up the center of Central Park leaving all civilians unscathed."
--------Lily's POV---------------
"Sounds like a plan we'll create a distraction and clear out before the bomb blows. What about the stones?" I ask.
" It will destroy them too."
" I'll get everyone out and then you can set the charge and then I'll leave right behind it."
   More avengers come to assist in finishing up the few aliens that remain in the throne room and Thanos has disappeared. Wanda places her timed seal onto the portal and the avengers evacuate.
     " Come on let's go," Wanda urges.
   " I'll set the charge and be out I promise," I say and she turns and leaves.
   I'm about to set the charge when I hear a voice.
    " What do you think you're doing mortal?" Thanos asks.
   " Getting rid of you and the infinity stones forever so you can't kill anyone else," I say getting ready to set the charge.
   " You will never stop me," he throws a punch and I start to back up into a corner, he pulls out a sword and I take out mine I try jab but he takes the offense and I'm backed into a corner as I retry to gain offense. It fails and he jabs me through the side and I fall to the ground and jabs me again through the shoulder as I drop my weapon.
   " Looks like you failed to kill me," Thanos says walking to the portal and I realize what I must do because I'm just out of range.
    " Hey Lily, the bomb hasn't gone off are you ok?"
   "I'm gonna blow it from in here, I'm just out of range. H-he stabbed me I'm not gon-gonna make i-it up," I say weakly.
    " No if you're stabbed we won't be able to get you out for hours you'll bleed out, I-if you stay you'll die." Tony says over my earpiece.
    " I know Tony...," I take a shaky deep breath," tell Loki and Harley I love them, very much. It's been an honor," I hear Tony try to say something but I get out of range of the bomb. Taking the wireless remote in my hand I remember all the fond memories shed a few tears before I push the button; the explosion goes off killing Thanos and closing the portal. I use some simple magic spells Loki taught me to conjure a pen and parchment write a note to my close friends, Harley and Loki. I've had a good life and I feel honored to have been apart of such good peoples live. The rocks around me shift and as the rocks are cleared, I see a light, I take a deep breath, shed a tear, and i realize my wish came true. My wish came true I lived the life I dreamed off with the people I love.
    " My wish came true," I say taking my last breath.

Don't kill me please. I felt this was the correct way to end the book but this is my last chapter. I know I said I would do another chapter but I couldn't think of a better way to end it.
