Kate was sitting in her room with all the lights off surrounded by darkness. She was thinking about Brown Hi-tech Pvt.Ltd. It was everything she ever wanted. She had all the brilliant ideas that would take Brown Hi-tech to a height where no one could think of taking it. Most importantly she had resources for implementation of those ideas.
But something somewhere didnt seem right. She felt empty emotionally. She had an empty space that someone had to fill. She needed love. She thought maybe the only thing that wants me right now is Brown Hi-tech. She was a public figure now. She had to think hard before letting someone in her life. It could turn her future with Brown Hi-tech Pvt.Ltd. She could'nt take chances.
She was invited to few charitable functions that evening which she didnt intend to attend. She decided to go meet her childhood friend Daisy. Kate and Daisy had a great time. She hadnt changed with Daisy. They were like sisters. Daisy's parents had divorced few months ago. She decided to hire Daisy as a graphic designer in her company. Daisy was the only friend she had. She was Mr.Brown's friend's daughter.
Since childhood Kate had an imagination of the kind of guy she wants. The guy who could fill all the empty corners in her life.
Kate went to Office next day and found out that the issue faced by Lehman & Sons was solved by her professionals. She called Mr.James Williams and thanked him for the appropriate reports and left.
James stood there thinking no one really knows this woman..
The office of Brown Hi-Tech had two buildings with one way glass. Each building of 20 floors. Everyone from the office could see everything outside. The access to the entire office was with finger print and eye scan of the employees. The security system had laser sirens.
On the top of every building it read
"Brown Hi-Tech Pvt.Ltd" in gold.
Another buidling was being constructed in the same campus with the same pattern.
It was lunch break when Kate decided to take a walk inside the campus of the buildings. She went out and she was lost in her thoughts.
Kate stood there watching the third building being constructed. One of the workman stood there to adjust his sunglasses, as he did that a wrench slipped off his hand and fell to the ground so far below. Kate watched in disbelief as the wrench came hurtling down towards her. She leaped out of the way, her heart beating faster than ever.
He waved a sorry.
She ordered him to come down and slapped him hard accross his face.
" You're fired"
"Mam i am sorry it was just a mistake"
"No. Hiring bunch of idiots like you was our mistake. Now get out of my building" screamed Kate
The next morning when she came to office something was missing. There was drop dead silence. The workers for the construction of 3rd building were missing. She called up the hiring agency and they said that none of the workers were ready to work for her and they had filed a law suit against her. She asked Rose to get her a list of top labour lawyers in New York.
The named that topped the list was Mr. William Smith.
