Kate was sitting in her cabin and suddenly she heard Mr. Smith's name on news. The news was he resigned.
Kate couldnt sleep that night. She was thinking what on this earth made a man like Mr. Smith resign from his work.
The next morning Kate had a call from her secretary, "Mr.Smith is here to see you Miss. Brown"
"Send him in" said Kate
"Hi Kate Good Morning"
"Good Morning Mr.Smith. I heard the news yesterday i..i dont know what to say. If there is any way i can help you.." said Kate
"Yes i would like to work for Brown Hi-tech Pvt.Ltd" said Mr.Smith
"We will be very pleased to have you in the company" said Kate.
Since that day Mr.Smith was the legal advisor and Product development head at Brown Hi-Tech Pvt.Ltd.
Kate was trying hard to sleep that night but there was a major question bothering her. Why would a guy leave his prestigious job to join Brown Hi-Tech Pvt.Ltd? She couldnt get the answer.
That morning she called her secretary Rose and asked her to keep an eye on Mr.Smith's activities in her office. Mr. Smith was suppossedly her right hand then.
Any new product development proposal or any major or minor issue regarding Brown Hi-Tech Pvt.Ltd was handled by Mr.Smith.
He had even become a friend to Kate. Kate could never see any further relation beyond friendship.
She was focused. She knew what she wanted and she knew how she was going to achieve it.
Kate cared for her employees. Her employees were her family. But once any of them disappointed her for work, they would see a different side of her.
Brown Hi-Tech was progressing every day. And so was Kate. She went to parties and she went to corporate functions. She had attention from many men but never gave it back. She was waiting for someone.
She was waiting for genuine love. And she knew he would come soon.
