"Oh god what are my friends gonna say?" I asked as he pulled into the parking lot.

"Please calm down princess, it'll be fine I promise." He assures me.

I nodded once and opened the door of the truck, grabbed my backpack, then closed the door.

"Do we hold hands while we walk in public?" I ask.

"Have you never had a boyfriend before?" He asked.

"Well- I mean, kind of but-"

"I'll take that as a no." He laughed a little and then grabbed my hand with his.

"Mmm, boyfriend, I like the sound of that." I smiled a little.

"Well I like the sound of you being my girlfriend." He smiled and kissed my forehead as we walked into school.

"What is this?" I hear a voice say from behind me.

I turned around and saw Jade standing there with one of her friends.

"Since when did you have a boyfriend?" She asked, smiling at me with her perfect teeth.

"Since yesterday." I laughed.

"James, this is one of my friends Jade."
They said hi to each other and then I noticed we had five minutes until class started.

"I'll walk you to class," He said as we walked up the stairs.

"Thanks," I smile.

When we got to my class, I gave him a long hug and then kissed him quickly and went inside.

"Did I just see what I think I saw?" Piper asked.

"What'd you see?" I asked.

"You kissing James."

"Oh yeah. We're dating." I said, writing down in my agenda.

"Oh, cute." She replied in a bored voice.

"Jade said the same thing." I laughed.

Throughout the day, some of my other friends noticed too, but they didn't really make a big deal out of it.

"Oh hey, do you wanna come over today?" I asked James.

"Sure, but it'll be a little while, I have some chores to do but then I'll be over." He said.

"Fine with me." I said.

"So anyway yea here's the garage. That's Joey and Daniels car. And thats my car." I pointed as I showed James around the house.

"Do you drive it?" He asked.

"I will once I get my license in a few weeks. Until then you're my chauffeur." I laughed.

"Ooh we should go on a date this weekend." I smiled.

"Where?" He asked as he took a seat in the only chair in the garage.

"Not sure, I'll find a place." I said.

"Dang what a shame there's only one chair in here, guess I'll just have to sit in your lap." I said.

"Yeah what a shame." He smiled a little and rested his hands on my thighs.

After a few minutes of kissing him, I thought of an idea.

"We could go on a picnic?" I asked.

"That sounds nice." He agreed.

"Daniel knows this little pond out in the woods somewhere with a dock and a big field. We could have it there. And we can go swimming." I said.

"Nice." He said.

I nodded and then leaned in and kissed him again.

"Your lips are soft," He mumbled into the kiss.

I giggled, "I try."

"Mmm I'm addicted to Brynn kisses." He said.

My face got hot and I smiled.

"James, I just wanna let you know that you make me really happy."

"You make me really happy too." He smiled at me.

"Literally nobody else has ever done anything like this with me before." I said.

"So you did date?" He asked.

"Yeah I guess- my ex is a jerk though. I hate him." I said, staring down at my hands.

James took a piece of my hair that had fallen beside my face and pushed it behind my ear again.

"Well you have me now." He said.

"Let's hope it stays like that."

"It will." He said, then kissed me again.
