Max: Where is y/n. I walked into her dorm to check on her but she wasn't there? JOJI EXPLAIN, NOW!

Max: WHY THE FUCK DID YOU THINK I TEXTED YOU!?

Fine you fucker, she's in the hospital. She got in a car crash whilst driving to the mall. I'M HERE NEXT TO HER BECAUSE I WAS THE FIRST PERSON FOR THE HOSPITAL TO CONTACT. SURE SAYS A LOT ABOUT YOU HUH!? SHE EVEN SAID EARLY THAT SHE WAS QUESTIONING YOU, HOW YOURE NOT ALWAYS THERE FOR HER! GET IT TOGETHER, SHE NEEDS YOU NOW AND YOURE NOT HERE.

Max: YOURE SAYING THIS IS MY FAULT?! FUCK YOU MAN.

I NEVER SAID THAT YOU DUMB SHIT.

I slam my phone on the hard tile of the hospital floor. Fuck him!

"Joji, whats the matter?" Y/n looks up, her voice full of worry.

"Nothing, I'm fine." I hiss.

She furrows her brow. "O-Okay."

"Y/N, would you be fine if I left. I've been here for a while." I run my fingers through my greasy black hair.

"Yeah sure, cya Joji."

"Cya." I grab my keys and head out of the hospital. I climb back into my car, turning the ignition key, and aggressively pull out of the parking lot. I was still mad about the whole Max thing. It's like he doesn't care about her. I cuss under my breath for what seems to be the whole drive home. I pull into the dorm parking spaces, and run up the steps and slam the door to my dorm shut.

"I feel like a 6 year old right now." I say hissing.
I stumble over to the fridge and pull out a beer, popping the cap, I take a sip.

Max's POV:
Jojis words are haunting my mind. In the hospital? Next a flood of guilt. Why wasn't I there. And lastly, questions. Why Joji? Is Joji better than me? I sigh and burry my face into my pillow. Does she even want to see me? She probably doesn't. Oh my god this is torturing me. I get out of bed and throw some clothes on, I run out of my dorm and down to my car, speeding to the hospital. I arrive in no time asking the nurse for her room number. I run up the stairs not having time for the elevator. I walk into her room.

"Y/n?"

"Max?"

I walk over to her and hug her tightly.

"I missed you baby." She says, her expression softening.

"I missed you too."

"I get to go home today." Y/n says.

My expression lights up. "Can I take you home now?"

Max pulls into the dorm parking lot, and hops out of his car. He opens the passenger door and picks you up, carrying you bridal style.

"Y/n." Max says his eyes glued to you.

"Max."

"I love you, and I want to be there for you more. I feel like I'm not always there." Max sighs.

"Max.." You say, your expression fading.

"I just want you to know I'm here."

"Max you always were. It's my fault I pushed you away.." You say looking down at the ground.

Max unlocks the door to your dorm and places you gently on the bed. He lays down next to you and places his arm around you. You burrow your head into his chest and let out a sigh.

"I love you too."

Sorry this was really shorttttt. I just wanted you guys to have something to read. I'll be returning from my vacation soon so I'll be able to write a lot more.
