"Test Subject Number Seven," He called from the end of the room.
" Yes, Doctor?" she replied meekly. They had been testing her powers in a shooting range.
She shows advanced levels with shooting fire precisely. However, when she must control water, she cannot create a small enough droplet to control. The size we need is to be around the size of a pea. The smallest she can control is a tangerine.
" Follow me. We are going to do more training." He stated monotonously. Dr. Holman was never much of an excitable man. He was a simple man that loved experiments. He especially loved to experiment on himself and what he could do.
Subject Number Seven nodded slightly. She placed the clear glasses she wore on the counter. Subject Number Seven followed after Holman. He led her down the barren halls of the laboratory. There were multiple doors with scientists and other test subjects. There was even a screaming man in one of the doors. Holman noticed Subject Number Seven's interest in the gut wrenching sound. "Do not worry. You survived the surgery."
They continued to walk down the hallway until they reached a large room with hard padded floors and mirrors on the walls. As she entered the room, a shudder ran down her spine.
"Um, Doctor Holman, why are we here?" she mumbled as she held up her arms over her chest. Holman shed his lab coat and threw it on a nearby table. " We, are going to practice. I'm going to teach you something new today."
She was cautious about his movements. She had never seen her instructor in such a manner. He was usually slow moving and strict.
" What am I going to learn, sir?" she questions as she follows suit with her jacket.
Holman squared his shoulders as he slowly stepped towards the cowering test subject in front of him. He struck her sharply. She fell to the floor as blood dripped from her nose. Tears started to form in her eyes. Hate and betrayal started to form in her heart.
" Do not cry. Tears obstruct your view from what should be clearly seen." His voice echoed through the room
