Gwen ended up leaving the three demons down by the shore of the park, along the ocean while she headed into town to get more supplies, now that more stores were open. The three of them scaled down the rather sheer cliff that led to the ocean, Quinn looked up across the water from the small rock she stood on, it stretched as far as she could see, nothing but blue, the sky melded with the ocean to a point where it was hard to tell where one ended and the other began. Jamie was already down by the water, sticking his hand in, Vanth was seated on a large rock, taking it easy after the wound he'd received. She crouched down on the rock and peered around, her eyes scanning the surf as she patiently waited for their ride to return, she slid down the huge rock and picked her way down to where Jamie was poking something with a stick. She peered over his shoulder, seeing some sort of dead fish on the ground, she scrunched her nose up at the smell and left to go comb the shores for other treasures that were...less smelly.
Gwen was gone for hardly an hour and seemingly returned with nothing she hadn't left with, Quinn walked over to meet her, looking a bit confused.
"Hey...did you get supplies?" she asked, Gwen nodded, to her surprise, and patted the bag at her hip.
"Everything we're going to need. Where are the boys at?" she asked, Quinn pointed down the beach.
"Jamie is poking dead things and Vanth is either dead or asleep." she replied, Gwen chuckled lightly.
"Let's go get them and we'll discuss the game plan, shall we?" she suggested, Quinn nodded and the two began picking their was back down the beach towards the boys.
"So, Gwen, you're a morpher right?" Quinn asked, the shorter girl nodded. "Mind if I ask you some questions?" she asked,
"Not at all. Fire away." Gwen replied, putting her hands into her jacket pockets.
"...How do you become one exactly? Is it like vampires or something or are you just born with it?" Gwen was about to respond when Vanth walked over.
"People over the ridge, coming down, we need to go." he said, Jamie tailing behind him. Gwen nodded. She headed for the water and everyone followed.
"We need to go quick before they get close, everyone on..." with that Gwen dove headfirst into the water, not a speck of fear or hesitation as she went straight under the surf. A few bubbles and seconds later, a long neck emerged from the surf, a huge toothy smile and beady black eyes met them. Quinn nearly screamed, the face was terrifying, even Vanth looked taken aback. The creepy smile widened into a grin,
"Everyone aboard," the mouth opened, speaking in a voice much like Gwen's but was much more gravelly. Vanth quickly got over the initial shock and climbed up on the pale sea monster's back.
Once Quinn got her bearings and climbed on after Vanth, she realized that the creature Gwen had turned into was much like the Loch Ness monster. Back when what seemed forever ago, the woman from the warehouse bar, Saura, had told her that morphers needed to come in contact with a creature before transforming into it.
'Wait, does that mean...' Quinn's thought was cut short as Gwen pivoted around and began swimming at a rapid pace out towards the ocean. She gripped her ridged back tightly as the water splashed at her legs, threatening to soak her. She brought her legs up under her to prevent the water from touching them as Gwen sped through the water as fast as a speed boat. Quinn spent the first twenty minutes or so making sure her grip was sure before she looked up, the wind blowing her hair back as she tried to yell into the wind to get Gwen's attention, it took several tries before the creepy face from before turned around, toothy with beady eyes.
