Two figures stepped out from behind a boulder. I tensed, waiting for the torture.

"Oh gods," the blonde one whispered.

"Oh gods," the auburn one agreed.

I realised the blonde one was Will Solace, the demigod I had seen before.

"Artemis?" I asked.

She grinned at me. "Hey there, Nightshade. How's Tartarus?"

I shot her a look saying 'really?' She laughed tightly and I realised that she was trying not to cry. They unchained me and Will lifted me onto his shoulders. He carried me while Artemis fought away any monsters who troubled us. I blacked out a few times and when I opened my eyes I was in Camp Half-Blood. Will was walking steadily but slowly. I guessed Artemis had already ran on ahead because she wasn't anywhere I could see. Will dropped me off in the infirmary, leaving me in the care of two of his siblings, Kayla and Austin. He ran back in about ten minutes later with Apollo hot on his heels. Apollo waved away Kayla and Austin and then lifted me up. He held me in one hand and waved his other hand over any broken bones. He also cleared away any dried blood and dirt. Laying me on the bed gently, Apollo rubbed in some sort of cream into my back to make the wounds heal faster. Then he did the same with my stomach and wrapped a bandage around my torso. Apollo called Will over and they both worked together to heal the gash on my face. Light glowed from their bodies, faces strained. They told me afterwards that the wound was now a thin brown scar. The pain went away after a while, and I could sit up without getting a stabbing pain behind my eyes. When they let me out I hugged Will and ran over to the Hunters. I was finally fully happy. Tartarus was gone, and everybody had their friends with them. Or so I thought.
