For the next few weeks Alex would find himself staying out of trouble so he could stay the extra Hour or so with Nicholas. They'd sit in the small room with a bag of chips and watch a movie on Alex's phone, or play a card game, With the dead was the only place Alex really felt, Comfortable with himself. He could break out of his bitter hateful facade. He was packing up his things after 8th period. When his teacher stopped him
"Alexander." He looked over at Mr. Pennyson.
"I assure you that for once in my life, I've done nothing wrong" He laughed at The 17 year old boy
"That's what worries me, What are you dong behind our back?"Alex thought for a second
"Nothing actually, My mom told me that I couldn't hang out with my friend if I continued to get in trouble all the time so I'm gonna try to be a good kid for once in my life" The old teacher glared him in the eyes.Knowing for a fact that He was hiding something. He pointed at the door
"See you on Monday, Alexander. " Alex slung his bag over his shoulder. Going into the bathroom  Next week was graduation. He was 100% going to graduate, but then what. Where would he go to collage? Would he go to collage. What did he want to do with his life. He could be a doctor but imagine how many people would have died in the hospital. He could be a lawyer but He isn't to fond of the law. He could maybe be a medium, that may require trying to talk to a ghost that isn't in the room. He could be a tattoo artist. Nobody would come to him. He would need one thing he doesn't have to start a tattoo shop, Money. He would need a building, The machines, All the ink, the stencils, decorations, piercing gun. Piercing needles, the ointment to put on your new tattoos and piercings, The actual piercings, and he didn't have even a hundred dollars to his name. Or he could just apply at a tattoo parlor that's already open. Yeah that sounds like a better idea. He came out of the bathroom and ran straight into the Principal, Mr. Andrews.
"What are you doing still here?" Alex gulped
"I went to the bathroom before I walked home" The man knew Alex much better than that.
"Then I'll escort you out." Alex sighed looking around
"Earlier I left my jacket in the auditorium. None of my teachers let me go back so that I could get it. I'm sure you can assume why they didn't though." Alex examined the man. Fat, far too fat to fit through the crawl space
"I'll walk with you then. Like all your teachers. I do not trust you either." They walked together to the auditorium.
"Mr. Anderson." He said walking quickly toward the front
     "Yes?" Alex faced him smiling.
"Trusting me is a horrible thought. Catch me if you can, Fatty!" He jumped onto the stage and slid under the curtain. He slipped behind the stage picking the look on the small door behind curtains and plywood. He heard His principal's large footsteps coming up the stairs. He slammed the door locking it behind him. He dove into the crawl space shoving the wood to the side closing it too.
"Alex! no! You will get expelled!" Alex came out in the room.
"Nicholas. He wouldn't. I'm the best student at this pathetic school. He'll call my mom." Nicholas sighed.
"You are going to get yourself in serious trouble."
"Jeez I hope so." The two listened to Mr. Anderson's screams.
"COME OUT HERE RIGHT NOW ALEXANDER OR I WILL BE FORCED TO CALL THE POLICE!" He rolled his eyes. The old man wouldn't call the cops if someone heald a gun to his head. He's probably just call their parents.
"Anyway. As we should both know graduation is next week." Nicholas nodded
"That makes this the week I died." He muttered. Alex looked him in the eye
"Back to the point. I'm not leaving you here alone." Nicholas rolled his eyes
"It's not like I could leave this room if I wanted to." Alex bit his lip.

"Yeah I know. I was g-" Alex was cut off by loud knocks on the door. Nicholas' eyes got huge.
"Oh hell!" He said. Alex looked around frantically thinking of something to do.
"Maybe you could try to leave the room with me. Either that or I'l make them break the walls down so there's nothing confining you to this one room." Nicholas nodded
"The first one I'll try to walk out of here" Alex went first they began to hear the police
"COME OUT HERE!" They screamed as he reached the door
"Alright alright I'm coming. I'm right here. On the other side of the door. I will turn around and run if your going to arrest me." He stood so that it they kicked the door down it would knock him the flip out.
"No. We aren't here to arrest you. This isn't illegal. Just come out, it's not safe in there." They were referring to Nicholas. Alex touched his back.
"Just kidding I'm gonna run. That's way more fun" He said laughing. Nicholas glared at him as he stood there. The officer kicked open the door hitting Alex dead in the face.
"Ugh. Take a joke." He said standing up off the floor. The officer glared.
"I'm gonna need to drive you home today, I'll need to talk to your Guardian." He scrunched his eyebrows together.
"Then I'll say you hit me in the face with a door for absolutely no reason." He spat at the policeman. Who rolled his eyes
"Kid you're gonna be living with a bad rep." Alex nodded walking out. as he guessed Nicholas was stuck. He longed at him for a moment. 4 years of Nicholas being his only friend and this is where it lands them. he didn't care if they couldn't see Nick or not, Alex wrapped his arms around the dead boy. Who squeezed Alex's back smashing his baggy hoodie to his back. The three other men stepped back. Looking like they've Seen a ghost, their faces white as a corpse. Their eyes bulging nearly out of their heads. Alex gulped they would seal up the room forever He would never talk to Nick again. Nick would need to sit in the room alone, forever. He turned to face the police.
"I'll go now." There was a long tension filled ride to his house. When they dropped him off, They just dropped him off and pulled away. He walked inside and his mother was standing there ready to kill him.
"Alex. This is too far. I'm ashamed of you. Your father would be so disappointed." Those words for some reason hurt Alex more than the look on his mom's face. She looked hurt like he let her down. He tried to speak but he knew if he did it would send him over the edge, his throat was swollen shut and tears were gathering in his eyes
"Ma' I really can't right now. I just lost all contact to Nicholas" She frowned stepping aside for him.
"Oh honey. I'm so sorry. What happened, Is he moving?"
" No ma' Nick is dead." Her eyes widened

"Oh my..." She pushed him down onto the couch that way a mother does when she feels that heartbreak.  "When is the funeral?" She asked
"There's not going to be one" He went to his room leaving his mother there feeling horrible about herself.

[A/N Oml that took like an hour and this is still a better chapter than the ones that took me all day... I think..]
