Surprises and False Alarms

"It's happening!" Manny shouted running through carrying a bowl of water fallowed by Crash, Eddie and me. "Wait up guys!" Oh and of course Sid. "Manny wait! I'm pretty sure it's just a false alarm!" I hollered to them from behind as I accidentally step on a saber squirrel. "Ahhh! I'm so sorry!" I apologized stopping and helping him get up the ground. "Well see ya." I said waving back and running once again after my friends.

"The baby's coming! The baby's coming!" Manny continued shouting like crazy. "Watch it!" Shouted a brown porcupine standing in the road. "I'm having a baby!" Manny replied. "Im sorry sir, he gets way too excited!" I told him as I ran passed him. "I can see that." He scuffed.

"Code blue! Code blue!" Crash shouted all over the place. "Or pink if it's a girl." Eddie stated. "Guys! Help me calm down Manny!" I yelled at them but I wad completely ignore by them.

"Having a baby! Having a baby! I'm coming Ellie!" Manny shouted once again, not watching where his going and sliding down an icy trail making the bowl of water slip from his trunk into the air.

I quickly fasten my phase and rapidly climb on top of Manny before the bowl could fall into the ground. "I got it!" I said reaching for the bowl of water to land in my paws. "Nice catch sis!" Eddie and Crash said in unison as they climb by my side. I winked in response.

Seeing this, Manny tried to slow down just before we got closer to the edge of the cliff. Finally stopping we all sighed in relief until we heard Sid screaming for her sliding down the ice toward us. "You go tta be kidding meeeeEEE!!" I cried at loud as we all fall down onto a tree.

Two minutes later we had finally made it to the ground with an empty bowl stuck on Manny's head. "Ellie! Ellie! Ellie, where are you? Where am I?" he called out to her moving around the whole place. "Manny I told you it was just a kick." Ellie said. Then the bowl fell of revealing Eddie, Crash and me stuck in Manny's eyes. "That's what I've been trying to said." I stated in a dazed as we three fell down to the floor.

"Right! Right! Wow, you really gave daddy a scare! Daddy got silly! Daddy fall down a cliff and go boom, boom, boom, silly daddy, yeah." Manny said to Ellie's belly then stopping after noticing all the animals staring at him. "Well that's just awkward." I murmured. "Totally." Crash agreed fist pumping with me.

Uh, sorry folks! False alarm! It was just a kick!" Manny shouted to the crowd, gaining from everyone a groaned and a few sarcastic comments.

This is the third false alarm in this week, I thought. Suddenly I saw Sid walk up to a beaver. "I see someone else has a bun in the oven," He said as I face-palmed at his stupid action. "I'm not pregnant!" Shouted the beaver angrily hitting Sid with a stick, then walking away. "That's to bad. You'd make a wonderful mother!" I face-palmed again as Sid ended up getting a stick once again thrown at him knocking him over.

"Manny, I know you're exited. I'm a too, but you're getting carried away," Ellie told him. "Boy, you're starting to sound a lot like (Y/n) and Diego." Manny said, but paused realizing his friend was no where to be seen. "(Y/n) where's Diego?" Manny asked me. "He told me he wanted to go out for a walk." I told him climbing up onto Ellie's back.

"I see....so anyway would you all like to see the surprise I have for Ellie?" Manny asked with excitement. "Sure why not." I said, "Of course!" Ellie replied also excited. Manny then got closer to Ellie and brought his trunk on top of her eyes so that she couldn't see anything.

Once we got there I gasped at how beautiful and adorable the place was. It was a park for the baby to play at.

"Whuala! A playground for junior." Manny exclaimed happily letting Ellie finally see. "Wow!" She gasped as we made our way in, looking carefully at every single detail. "Great job Manny." I winked at him gaining a smile from him.

Suddenly something shinny catch mine and Ellie's eyes. It was a baby mobile made of a beautiful blue diamond and three mammoth ice figures hanging underneath. "I made it myself." Manny told Ellie. "For our family." He added looking at her lovingly at her eyes. This made me feel a little bit sad on the inside. It was true I had a new loving family with me....but still, who wouldn't miss their old one.

"Why I'm not up there?" Sid asked confused. "You can be on ours." Eddie said. "Yeah, (Y/n) is also in this one." Crash added showing him a mobile made up with a fish skeleton, an bitten apple and some other pieces of trash. I let out a giggle at my step brothers cute behavior. "Thanks." Sid smiled with happiness.

Ellie's eyes were widen in amused as she walked around the park, meanwhile Manny putted some snowballs on tree branches and accidently on a little bird's peak. "I can't believe it, you trying to baby proof nature." I told him trying to contain back my laughter.

"What. Of Course Not! And besides that's what a father would do." he replied grinning at me. I gave him a gentle smile. "You're goanna be a great father." I told him. "Thanks (Y/n). I'm happy to hear you say that." He thanked me rubbing my head with his trunk. "What about you?" He asked. "What about me?" I questioned. "Isn't there any....mmmm boy you like right now?" He added a bit awkwardly . "What?!" I exclaimed shocked and blushing deep red. "O-Of c-course not!" I answered embarrassed as Manny chuckled at my rare behavior. "That's good, cause I don't think Ill let you date any guy with my permission." He finished walking up to Ellie. I smiled at his words.

After a few more minutes we finally made our way out of Manny's baby playground. "Come on Sid, I don't want you touching anything. This place is for kids." Manny stated moving a long piece of wood to let us out. "Are you a kid?.....Don't answer that." He added.

I let out a giggle as I watched Sid brake the head of one of the snow statues. Yeah, I sure loved this family, I thought happily.
