chapter 1

Kiara's prov:

It has been three years since I ran away from my old pack. I remember that day like yesterday how my uncle wiped out my entire family. I swore to myself if I ever saw him again I would get revenge on him for taking them away from me.

               Flashback
"Hey dad what you and Uncle Jim doing" I asked. Him and uncle Jim looked up at me with shock. What? I asked, dad looked at uncle Jim and said "you tell her". I looked at the both of them with wide eyes.

Before they could answer Mark our beta, came to us with shock and grief on his face. My dad was the first to speak. "What Mark what's wrong"? He still didn't answer all he did was look down." Tell us now"! My uncle Jim said when he didn't, my dad grabbed him by the shirt.

"It's Kirsten and Jacklin we found them outs"... My dad and uncle Jim cut him off. "What about them"?! They both had worried faces on this time. I looked at mark for a split second then back at my uncle and dad.

"There hurt alpha"! That was all they needed to hear since I couldn't shift yet, dad told me to stay here. Like the disobedient kid I was I followed far behind.

Dad and Uncle Jim shifted right after there talk with mark ,and ran full speed with me behind their tails. What I saw next scared the hell out of me. It was my mom and aunt Jacklin on the ground in a pool of....there blood.

Ahhhhhhhhhh!! I screamed at the top of my lungs. My dad turned around crouched down ready to rip my head off. I backed away slowly as he kept coming toward me. Then he realized it was me and his expression softened. He ran behind a tree and shifted back to his human form. "Kiara what are you doing here"! I looked at him with wide eyes and was scared to death I couldn't speak. "Kiara come here please". Dad came up to me and hugged me real close to him. "Is mom gonna be okay dad"? I asked him with real concern. He looked at me with hurt in his eyes.

Soon Mark our beta ran up to us with the pack doctor. He took mom and aunt Jacklin to the infirmary. We had to wait for hours to find out what was wrong with them. Soon the doctor came out of the room he was in.

"I have good and bad news for all of you" My dad and Uncle Jim were the first to stand.

"Alpha your wife has some injuries but with a well deserved rest she should be fine in a week". The doctor turned to Uncle Jim with a soft and sad look on his face. "Jim I'm so sorry to say this your wife"... "My wife what is it doctor, you can tell me"! Uncle Jim looked really nervous about what the doctor was going to say.

"She...she didn't make it Jim, her injuries were to serious, we tried our best I'm so sorry". "THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH YOU FOOL, I WANT MY WIFE ALIVE NOW"!!!! My uncle yelled at the doctor.

"W-we tri-tried everything, Jim calm down". "CALM DOWN, I JUST LOST MY WIFE, DON'T GOT DAMN TELL ME TO CALM DOWN"!!! Uncle Jim yelled again.

"JIM ENOUGH"! My dad said in his alpha voice that sent everyone to look at him. DON'T TELL ME "ENOUGH," YOUR NOT THE ONE WHO LOST HIS WIFE GOT DAMN IT!!! Uncle Jim challenged my dad.

Hey! "Watch your tone I'm your alpha NOT the other way around"!! Dad challenged back. Uncle Jim crouched down ready to attack his own brother. Dad doing the same thing trying to get me to leave. I never did listen to him so why would I now.

Uncle Jim charged at my dad slamming him straight into the wall. Bearing his canines at him. My dad got a hold of his shoulder and pushed him to the ground. His hand around his neck ready to rip it out. Uncle Jim got lose of his grip on his neck and throw a fireball at him.

Dad! I screamed. He turned around and told Mark to get me out of here. Like I said before I don't listen. I fought to get to my dad so he wouldn't get hurt. Before he could get me fully out the door, I saw my uncle Jim do the one thing that made me hate him.

Uncle Jim had my dad pinned to the wall and set him to flams. NOOOO! I screamed at him then I was on other side of the door. Mark turned me around to face him, he told me to run and don't come back no matter what.

After that I ran as fast as I could away from my home. I could hear all the screaming in the background. I heard my uncle say something that had me run for my life now. Even though I already was.

I WILL FIND YOU KIARA and I WILL KILL YOU!!! My uncle said.
   

   End flashback

I vowed that if I ever saw him again I would kill him before he had the chance to get me.
