chapter 4

Kiara's prov:

I was in the kitchen fixing lunch when Ray came in there all puffy eyed. I told him to sit down and tell me what's wrong. He took a deep breath and told me everything that happened.

"I can't believe Matt wants to keep you a secret and he's your mate!" He looked so upset and heartbroken it broke my heart. I was pissed off now how could Matt do this to him. "Look let's go watch TV and eat cookie dough ice cream." He looked at me with a pout on his face. "Oh come on you'll love it."

I went in the refrigerator and got two pints of cookie dough ice cream and headed for the couch. We sat their and ate our ice cream and watched she's all that. Ray fell asleep on the couch with the spoon in his mouth. I took that to advantage and left him there so I can clean up. After that I took the spoon out his mouth and covered him in a blanket.

I walked upstairs to take a shower for a good ten minutes. I throw on some clothes and headed back downstairs to check on ray. He was still sleep which was good for me in this case. I went to go see Jax about Matt.

I walked all the way on the other side of the pack house and go up the stairs to his room. I found him asleep in bed and took that to my advantage. I snook up behind him and tickled his neck. He shot up arms swinging everywhere and hit me in the face. "Ow!" Thanks a lot! He looked at me a smile spread across his face. "You talk?" He asked amazed. I rolled my eyes I'm only doing this for ray. "Shut up I'm only doing this because your friend hurt my friend!" I told him pissed off again.

"You mean Matt and Ray?" He asked trying to be funny but I wasn't having it. "Don't play with me, why does Matt want to keep ray a secret?" I asked even more pissed off. "Don't you know he's being unfair to him!" He looked at me annoyed. "He has his reasons for the way he's acting." He confessed to me. "What is it cause ray's upset over this and crashed on the couch with cookie dough ice cream in his hands." He looked at me with a smirk on his face. "Matt's scared that if his dad finds out he might disown him so he wants to keep everything a secret for now." He told me all serious now.

"Why didn't he just ray that, so he gets off my couch and go back to the pack house with the boys?" I asked him. He gave me the idk stare. I got up off his bed and went back to ray who was probably up now and wondering where I was.

I walked back to the other side of the pack house to find ray staring at me. "What?" I asked him knowing what he's gonna say. "Where did you go missy?" He asked me not to happy that I left him alone. I couldn't lie to him so I told him the truth. "I went to see Jax about Matt for you." He looked surprised at me. "You talked to him?" He asked in disbelief. "I just said I did it for you and I found out why!" He was curious now. "What did he say to you?" He asked getting nervous. "He told me that Matt wanted to keep you a secret because he was scared that his dad would disown him. " I confessed wow that was a lot to say. He looked away from me like he knew how he felt, oh wait he does. I forgot ray came out to his dad finally.

"I have to go find him and talk to him." He told me and out the door he went. Finally thank god. That was a lot of work for me I deserve a nap. With that I went upstairs and took a well deserved rest for the day.
