It's been a week since I've packed all my things and moved in with the Diaz family. They gave me the biggest guest room they had. They said it would help me think and get through this very tough event. But I don't think I'll ever get over this. I haven't even bothered putting away half of my stuff and I keep the shades on the windows partly closed. I've only managed to hang my mirror, put some clothing away, and I've kept my wand and the blue crystal necklace very close to me. Sometimes I'll just find myself starring at the crystal for hours. Wondering why she gave me it.
Marco's mother and father have been bringing me plates of food, but I haven't really touched them or even bothered to look sometimes at what they bring in now. I'm still not quite used to them knowing that I come from a completely different Dimension, a princess soon to become queen, and can do magic. Not something people from Earth would understand. And I don't think that Marco believes it all. I sighed and moved towards the middle of the Queen size bed and tucked my legs to my chest while placing my crossed arms on my knees. I layed my forhead on my arms and stayed like that for a while until I heard a knock on the wooden door.
"Star? I-it's me, can I come in?" I pulled my head up slowly, surprised that Marco's the one that wants to come in and not his parents.
"U-u-uhhmm, sure.." I said softly since I haven't used my voice for at least four or five days. I was wondering if he heard me and I was about to say he could come in again but as soon as I drew in a breath a heard the handle turn. Marco gently opened the door and peeked his head in to see me.
"Uhh....hi" He placed his hand up but didn't wave it and had his other hand in the red jacket he's wearing. I placed my head down covering half my face with my arms not saying hello back."Listen, Star." He said as he sat on the edge of the bed, still looking my way but glancing at the ground every now and then. "You've been locking yourself up in your room for a week now, and my Mom thinks that you should start being social with other people." I sighed quietly and looked away from him. I have been distancing myself, but I'm not sure I'm ready to talk to other people or do anything that much.
" That's why ummm..I-uhh wanted to uhh...." I brought my attention to him and I could see he was trying to hid something, as he scratched the back of his neck.
"I w-was wondering i-if you uh, w-wanted to take a s-short walk w-with me later today?" He looked at the ground with now both of his hands pushed into the pockets of his red jacket.
I thought for a while about this. I guess it could do me some good to go out and walk later on today. And I won't be needing to do anything besides walk. Which could help me clean my thoughts out.
"Alright then. I accept your offer." I gave him a small nod and a forced smile.
*sigh* "alright then, uhhmm....bye?" He stood up and waved as he opened the door, left, and closed the door behind him.
Well, I guess I had plans later on today. Might as well get ready to pass the day until the walk. I figured I'd get used to the bright sun, so I opened the window and I saw something farley big shake a tree neerby. I watched it carefully to see if I could spot what made the tree to move that way. I thought I saw a green figure move, But nothing happened again.
Huh, maybe it was just strong winds and big leaves. Ethier way I decided to close the shades again. For some reason, I had this strange feeling that I was being watched. And I definitely didn't like it. Maybe I should take my wand with me when Marco and I go for our walk. Yes, I would definitely feel safer if I had it on with me at all times from now on. And maybe it'll give me a chance to prove to Marco that I actually AM I magical Princess from another dimension. No, Aunt Ruby always said to use my magic when necessary. A least...that's what she would have told me. *sigh* I miss her so much.
