"So what's your name?" I asked the bald man that I had just saved his life not long ago. He seems to be suffering from the aftershock from all that happened just now as he's still shivering in fear with beads of sweat trickling from his head. "It's okay! I won't bite or kill you...I'm on your side!" I smiled gently, trying to figure out a simple name from him.
"Shik Joong" I heard him blurb out the words. Sounds like he's korean? I was right! A feeling of excitetment filled inside me was starting to erupt as I was overwhelmed with happiness. All these years in my life I've been trying to find a korean so hard and I'm finally found a friend. Okay, maybe someone's that's going to be my friend soon.
"I'm Yoon Sung! Nice to meet you!" I extended my arm towards him, shaking his hand with delightment. His gaze at me changed as he started to lower his guard and loosen up. He took my hand and shook it as well. "You can call me Baek! And thank you for saving me earlier!" He replied.
"So you actually saved me just because I'm korean??" Baek exclaimed with bewilderment as we walked out of the streets back home. I nodded my head simply and this made him jump even higher. "You aren't gonna sell my kidneys or abduct me right?" He mutttered in fear when he started making wild guesses of me saving him. I nodded my head and then I felt a gust of wind blow against my face. Turning around, I saw a trail of dust at where Baek stood and he was bolting off like rabbit. I gave a loud chuckle and gave chase saying, "Of course I'm not! I was just kidding!!"
He didn't believe me of course~ He's been into so much trouble that things like these actually seem possible to happen. All I knew is that my life's going to change for the better as now, I've finally had a friend that I could actually play and have fun with. Until...a thought suddenly struck me.
"What if dad doesn't allow him into the house and kills him?" I felt a stone plummet down my guts and a shiver ran down my spine.
