Shawn's pov
Pat....pat...pat was the sound of Emma's bare feet slap against the marble floor as she ran through the living room and kitchen. Her laughter could also be heard as she through pillows at my head every few seconds. I had been chasing her for what felt like hours and let me tell you she was fast! I had managed to make it to the opposite side of the island Emma right across from me. She looked me with an evil twinkle danced in her brown eyes.
She had a plan and I was the victim.
She moved left and I followed. She moved right same reaction. She giggled then she ducked down so her whole body vanished behind the island. I copied her actions looking right under the island. No Emma. Looked left. No Emma.
Where did she- I was brought out of my confusion by "hey mendes" I looked up to see a smirking Emma on the top of the stairs! I darted up and quietly made my way up up the stairs Emma's back to me. I grabbed her by the waist causing a scream to escape her lips. She turned in my arms now facing me. Her heavy breaths fanned against my cheek making the desire to kiss her stronger. Leaned down hearing her sharp intake of
air.
Two more seconds
Ding dong!
Emma's face turned in the direction of the door abandoning my lips. She backed away heading down the stairs to the door. "Blake!"
