"Matt! Ryan!" Mark yelled to his roommates, "I'm going out for a bit, call me if you need anything!"

"Okay! Stay safe!" Matt responded, poking his head out from behind the kitchen wall.

Now that Mark moved in with Matt and Ryan, he hadn't gotten to shift the way he used to. The park is the only way he can get away with doing such due to the thick woodland area.

The walk there was quick for Mark had learned all the shortcuts to get there. The American looked around for people before walking a little deeper into the trees and removing his wanted clothing. The adult had always been confused to why his shifts never hurt like his parents had claimed, but then again, they weren't born a like him

Mark's mother and father were attacked when sightseeing while his father was stationed at a military base there. They had heard folklore of Ireland being the land of the wolf but never believed until they were almost killed by a territorial Alpha...

Mark shook his head, running around and stretching his limbs, He had been told his wolf was an Alpha, explaining his large size. The large wolf ran into a clearing and onto a large rock that had a clear few of the moon that night. He loved the view here. He couldn't wait until Indy Popcon, last time he was there, he got to run around larger forests and was excited to do it again.

The thought of the convention ahead reminded him of Jack. He truly was ecstatic about meeting him, when he talked to the energetic Irish man, he gets a warm feeling in his chest that screamed "home." Mark didn't understand why his inner wolf was so happy around the green haired man but he never questioned it, accepting it was a small crush that would soon blow over.

Mark watched the moon move across the navy sky for a while longer before trotting back to his neatly folded clothing hidden among the tall grass. Mark shifted back and inhaled deeply. He wasn't sure how much longer he would stay in the city, he always thought about moving to Ireland with Jack as a joke but as time goes on, Mark might end up wishing he actually did.

Mark pulled his hood over his head after he getting dressed and made his way downtown, walking fast to avoid any threats on the streets. The young man checked his watch, turning down another street, he was a block away but had a God awful feeling of being followed.

Just as Mark had suspected, he soon heard footsteps behind him, approaching quickly. Instinctively, Mark's eyes changes to a bright yellow, pupils turning to slits, and his teeth sharpening. The hood fell from the wolf's head as a hand landed on his shoulder. Mark turned quickly, growling loudly before noticing who it was. Mark's appearance quickly went back to normal, brushing it off as if it didn't happen.

Ryan stood in fear, hand that was once on his friend's shoulder remained in the air between the two, shaking.

"W-what the fuck was that!?" The frightened man screeched. Mark tilted his head in fake confusion.

"What was what? I was just walking home... What are you doing here?" He responded, chuckling nervoudly.

"Y-Your eyes, they... they were yellow... and you-you growled!" Ryan claimed, backing away from the approaching Mark.

"Why would I do that?" The wolf asked. The human shook his head, taking another step back. He held his head and Mark rested a hand on his friend's shoulder.

"I-I don't know... the only reason I can think is you being a dog..." Ryan chuckled, "What am I thinking? You're a person!"

Mark mentally sighed in relief, and nodded, faking a laugh.

"Yeah man, I'm just a human!" The wolf claimed nervously.

"Now, let's get home, yeah?" Mark added, nodding towards the end of the street.
