Also so many of you ship Samantha and Tony, so I can assume you may be upset sometime in the near future.

As they entered the room Pepper couldn't help at smile. Her friend finally had gotten over her fear and faced Tony. And Tony had finally learned how to apologize. Feeling they needed time alone she walked towards Tony giving him a quick kiss on the cheek to say she was proud,
"I'll leave you two to sort things out." With that she left the room, only Samantha and Tony left inside.
The silence that filled the room gave both of them an awkward feeling but Samantha just gave a small smile. She looked at Tony and decided to break the lingering silence,
"So how long have you and Pepper been... A thing?" She asks her question hanging in the air for a long while before Tony finally has a decent answer,
"Ehh, about 3 years now but it gets fuzzy." He shrugged. "But how about you?"
"What?"
"You have a boyfriend, husband, fiancée maybe? I mean you look like a lady who would have at least one of the above, if not two." He said sarcastically near the end as Samantha blushed and shook her head.
"No, no, no, no. I don't do relationships. The only boy I liked shoved it in my face that he had this kinda, well... I don't want to say slut, but it kinda describes her. She worked for a 'nightclub' so you know love and me don't get along." Samantha looks at the ground trying to to avoid all eye contact. Tony opens his mouth to talk then realizing before pepper he had a few to himself too.
"Well hey, never know, welcome to New York where your new boy could be right around the corner!" Tony joked and Samantha gave a small smile looking up at him slightly laughing a tiny bit to ease the tension.
"Your not half bad Tony." Samantha said putting on a full smile before Tony returned the gesture sitting down on his chair.
"Well you know, I try."

As Samantha got out of Peppers car she looked over at her best friend and had the truest smile she had ever had laid upon her face.
"So it went well then?" Pepper asked skeptically getting out the car herself locking it as they went inside the apartment building.
"No, it went absolutely horrible." Samantha said sarcastically as she pushed a button and the elevator door opened. Samantha had a apartment on the top floor of the building and was for the most part done except for a few items of furniture she still had to get.
"Mhm, so what did you guys talk about?"
"Oh you know we just caught up."
"Well I expected that much."
"Of course."
"Well I'm glad your not afraid of him anymore, I guess that means we will be working together-."
"Wait! Who said I was scared of him!" Samantha turned to Pepper as the approached her apartment door. They both stopped suddenly.
"Well I mean you were telling me that you didn't want to be near him and that you hated him so I just assumed." Pepper shrugged and Sammy crossed her arms and looked at her friend with a pouty face,
"I would never be scared of him! I just hated his guts is all and never wanted to see him again." She clarified and opened the door as her friend walked away.
"Alright Sammy see you tomorrow." Pepper waves as she leaves the hall, Samantha smiling to herself more thinking of the great things that are to come next as she opens her door. Only to walk in and have the door slammed shut behind her and lock.
She looked around for a second before realizing that's not normal and grabbing the hammer she had been using to hang up pictures and holding it ready to hit something with. Then she starts hearing whispers around her and goes lightheaded passing out.
