You were dropping in at anteiku. You haven't seen Hide or Kaneki in a  while and thought they might be there if not on campus still. You noticed people inside who you never seen before in the small cafe, A male with blue hair like touka's and a purple scarf made an flashy appearance through the window. Touka tried to stop him from doing anything but ended up striking a nerve at the mentioning of their father and so he shot her down with his crystal-like ukaku imobilizing her. "Jason" as they called him had entered long before then eyeing kaneki with such a look it made him shiver probably. How did you know all of this? The commotion was so loud you could hear everything through the door. Of course your heart was thumping erratically because a room full of ghouls was only a door apart and one wrong move could get you brutally murdered; almost like the last run in you had with ghouls. When you couldn't stand to just stand there and listen anymore the room got silent and your heart nearly stopped, the floorboard beneath your foot croaked obnoxiously. Cursing under your breath part of you wanted to make a break for it and before you did you heard "jason" call to ayato to look around outside. Flinching hard you tried not to make anymore noise. You walked down the stairs trying to act as normal as possible to even muttering a "I guess they're not open today." to make the act more believable.

It was to no avail ayato still followed he jumped from the window and landed right in front of your form blocking the path. Your insides churned telling you to run away but surely death would only follow such a stupid plan. He then looked at you and laughed "You friends with my dumb sis aren't you!?" Your eye twitched and stared at him in disbelief.

"Wow a human hanging around ghouls, you must know how troublesome that is?"

He whispered in your ear making you cringe at the feeling of his breath on your stinging red ears.

"Their scent is all over you."

Your stare soon becomes one with the pavement as you stood trying not to be froze by your own fear. He smirks at you as pulls back away from you.

"Next time I see you I'll devour you. So you better start running."

You can hear the slamming of furniture and assumed thay jason was doing something, something terrible to kaneki. A lump formed the in your throat and you suddenly had a least enough courage to muster up a question.

"Wh-at is he doing to him?"
You stuttered looking up at the building. Ayato shrugged replying with a "whatever he wants to."
Another question bubbled up to your surface.

"Why do ghouls hate humans so much?"

The blue haired male stopped briefly, sharply inhaling before turning to look at me once again.

"Why do we hate humans? Simple because humans hate us."

"But I-"

"I ain't here to converse with you. Be lucky you're leaving with your life. If I ever hear talk about this on the street I'll kill you myself got that idiot girl?"

"I understand. But please..don't let that guy kill my friends I beg you."

"Shut it."

Ayato mumbled under his breath, he more than likely doesn't care that jason was going to torture kaneki until he can't anymore, and he sure won't start caring now.
