"Are you the one sent from the other world ?", I heard someone ask me. My eyes were still closed, still afraid of what I was going to see. Slowly opening my eyes, I could see a crowd of people around me. Everything was just like a mirror image of my world. Again, I heard someone ask me, "Are you the one sent from the other world ?" Taking a deep breath, I answered. "I am Shinju, the new "Chuukaisha" from the other world", I said clearly, waiting for an answer. Someone from the crowd moved up. It was a man. "What proof do you have ?", he said unexpectedly. "Proof...?", I mumbled silently. I heard the crowd behind him start to murmur to each other. "I bet you she's going to be just like the last one", I heard someone say from the crowd, "I bet she's going to cry." Cry ? Is that what the ones before me did ? I could understand what the ones before me went through. "I'm the proof", I responded firmly, "No one but the "Chuukaisha" is allowed to be able to go to the other world. What more do you ask ?" The man grinned at my reply. "You're interesting", he said, "I've only heard that from only one person before you." He walked up to me and shook my hand. I looked at him confused with what was going on. He turned to the crowd behind him and started talking. "Everyone !", he yelled, "This girl is indeed the new "Chuukaisha" !" A wave of excited shouts came through. Then he turned back to me. "My name is Kyre", the man said, "Welcome to the other world." I nodded my head. "Now then", Kyre said as he called to someone in the crowd, "June ! Come here !" A boy, who seemed to be around my age walked up to us with a annoyed expression. "Shinju", Kyre said, "From now on, this guy here will be your watcher." "Watcher...?", I questioned as I looked at the boy named June. He gave me a hateful glare, making me recieve chills. "That's right", Kyre continued on, "Even the ones before you have had one. The job of the watcher is to keep track of the "Chuukaisha" and their movements." I nodded my head. "Well then", Kyrea said as he pushed me into June, "Good luck." Kyre started to walk away, such as the crowd behind him. I looked behind me slowly. I was pushed into June, who had automatically dropped me onto the ground. Geh... "Listen up human", June said hatefully, "I'm not going to help you with anything. You're on your own. I'm just gonna watch your movements." "I know", I said as I looked around my surroundings. I heard a sigh come from June as he grabbed my hand and dragged me off into a house. "L-let go !", I said while struggling from him, "What are you doing !?" He dragged me until we reached a room where he just shoved me in. I landed on the ground with a 'thud'. Getting up from the ground slowly, I noticed him with a smirk on his face. The other thing I noticed was that there was a little boy hiding behind his leg. I looked up at June. "This kid", June started to say, "You have to take care of him. Got it ?" I looked at the little boy who was pushed forward. He seemed very shy. Siting up in front of him, I reached a hand out. The little boy looked at me nervously. I watched him slowly reach for my hand. Finally he was smiling at me. "Looks like you've been picked", June said as he took a seat in the nearby couch. "Picked....?", I asked as the little boy started to play with my hair, "What do you mean ?" "Well you see" June replied, "From now on, you'll be in care of Jun." I looked at the little boy. "Jun...is his name ?", I mumbled. Jun smiled from hearing his name. "I warn you though", June sighed. "....?" June looked at me stupid look. My attention was all on him, instead of Jun, who was hugging me. I felt a sharp pain on my neck, and I could see June smirking. "Told you", June said as he walked over to me, "You should be a bit more careful human." I watched as June touched my neck with his hand and grinned. I looked at him with disbelief. He licked his hand after touching my neck. I could tell that he was enjoying himself. June went to the other side of my neck, and licked me. I flinched and started to feel dizzy. "W...what...?", my voice trailed off, "Are you...doing...?" Again, I felt another sharp pain on the other side of my neck, but this time it hurt more than the last one. I understood what they were both doing. Blood, and Vampires. I forgot what world this was. With the strength that I had left in me, I tried to push June away. Instead, he just got a grip on my hand. I knew I wouldn't die, but I gave in just a little bit. Jun, who bit into the right side of my neck finally let go and sat up. My view was hazy, but I could tell he was smiling, like any child would when they were happy. Lifting up my free hand, I slowly tried to wipe the blood that was dripping from his mouth with the sleeve of the white kimono. The kimono was now stained a bit with red. Every moving second I could feel myself get weaker. Eventually, it got to the point where I was barely hanging on. Just how much blood did June take from me ? "Juu....", I faintly heard Jun say, "Juuu...." I felt the grip on my neck vanish as June let go. I closed my eyes and felt a cold breeze blow by me. Did I die....? Impossible.
