It's been 3 days since the fire. Since then, the children from the orphanage have been staying at the house. Today, they were going to investigate who started the fire. Most of them went, including the children. The only one left at the house was Jun and I. June went into town to buy new bandages. "So Jun", I asked, "What would you like to do ?" Jun hugged me and smiled. I smiled back and headed to where the glass cases were with flowers. When I got there, "she" was standing before her own glass box. She looked up and looked at me with empty eyes. "You came", she said as she looked back at the glass, "Doesn't this place give you the creeps ?" I shook my head and clutched tighter to Jun. "Why did you put that place on fire ?", I asked while I walked towards her. She didn't reply. I placed a white rose in front of her glass case and continued down the way. "Because I hated that place", she finally said. I turned to look at her slowly. "How did you know that it was me ?", she asked next. I placed a white rose at the 10th glass box. "When I first came to this place, I studied your replica closely. I came up with two reasons. One, was that it really was your body. Since I used to often see you around the main square every time I went. The second, was that there was a black ribbon in your hair. If you look now, the ribbon in the replicas hair is slightly placed in a different area. It was like that ever since I came here everyday", I lifted up a black ribbon from my skirts pocket, "This here is a ribbon that you dropped. Another thing that gave me a hint was that you were with June the morning of the fire. You were asking about who I was, asking about how I acted." I placed a rose at the 6th glass case. "That was unexpected", she replied, "Who knew that just by coming here, you would be able to tell who it was." I didn't say anything, but continued to do my daily flower giving. I watched her move to the left of the glass case. "This case will belong to you shortly", I heard her mutter, "I wonder how beautiful you would look. Your eyes closed, dresses in beautiful clothing...." I placed a flower at the 1st glass case. "You will fail, just like the rest", she continued, "You will fail just like the ones before you did. You were sacrificed in order to protect the ones from the other world. You weren't wanted." [Thump] I lost my footing and stumbled towards her. Not wanted.....? [Thump] I was at the 14th glass case, where I stopped walking. "That's why", she walked towards me and held my hair in her hand, "You should stay with me. I want to be with you, since we've been abandoned." [Thump] My heart seemed to be hurting again today, just like where I am bandaged from the wounds. [Thump] I placed my cap on Jun's eyes. Just then.......

[SLAP !!!!]

The sound echoed in that room, and I could tell that the door behind us was open. Kayo was caught off guard, and I managed to slap her. Jun removed the cap shortly afterword. Kayo smirked. "You're shaking ?", she sneered, "Pathetic." [Thump] I took a deep breath and smiled. She seemed surprised, unaware of what I was going to do. "Call me pathetic, its alright", I replied, "But I have nothing in common with someone like you. I haven't given up, I still am trying to leave this place. You gave up, and ran away, just like the ones before us. I have not, because I have a purpose for returning." [Thump] I quickly fell to my knees afterwords, clutching where my heart was. [Thump] "Tch....", I mumbled as the pain continued. The pain was unbearable... but why did it happen every time Kayo was close ? "So what are you doing here Kayo", June said as he looked at the both of us, "I told you not to come here during the day when she is here." Kayo turned to him and grinned. "I only wanted to meet her", she said, "But shes more interesting than I thought." I didn't bother to look up, and instead just told Jun to go to June. [Thump] June picked him up and continued to look at Kayo. "You should leave before Kyre comes here", he warned her. I struggled to stand up slowly. I managed to stand, but I had the glass case beside me to support me. I was still clutching my where my heart was. [Thump] "So what did you do to her ?", June asked her as they both looked at me, "What are you doing ?" "I don't know ?", Kayo replied, "I didn't do anything." I slowly started to walk towards the door. [Thump] "You're leaving now ?", Kayo asked as she suddenly appeared in front of me. I stopped walking for a second, before letting out a smile. "You aren't Kayo", I said slowly. "Kayo really did die in this world." I swayed when I stood by myself. Kayo grinned. "You knew", she sighed, "You must know what I'm planning then don't you ?" I nodded my head. Her aim was to get me to fail. "It won't work", I replied when I finally reached the door, "But at the same time... I know that I'll die soon." The pain had subsided and was barely even there anymore. I stayed silent. "Shi~!", Jun shouted, "Shi~!" June put him down as he ran over to me. He hugged my legs and hid behind me. I looked at June and Kayo. They were both looking at me with a cold look. I picked up Jun and held him close. "You're going to be our new target", Kayo said smirking, "I can't wait until you finally give in." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Help me.... Akari.

I pulled a smile. I slowly opened my eyes. In front of me was June, and that girl known as "Kayo". I could tell that the expression on June's face change. Jun, the boy who was in my hands also looked at me confused. I smiled at him too and turned towards the two in front of me. "June, you've changed", I said as I walked over to him, "Why does it seem like..... you're forcing yourself ?" He looked at me wide eyed as the girl beside him quickly brushed my hand away from his face. I looked at her slowly, her face with a glare. I smiled at her too. "Why do you not want me so close to June ?", I asked the glaring girl, "Do you want me to disappear so quickly ?" "Why did your personality suddenly change !?", she growled, "Why do you still stand your ground !?" I smiled and looked at her straight into the face. "It's a secret", I sighed, "It's a promise." I walked past her and went to the 1st  glass case. I placed my hand on the cold feeling glass. Was this.... mine ? "Shi~.....?", Jun mumbled as he looked at my uncertain of who I was, "Shi~...?" I smiled at the boy and patted his head. "Nee, don't worry ?", I whispered to him, "Don't worry." He seemed to relax a bit. I picked up the white rose that "she" had placed in front of the glass and smiled. That girl. "Why do you seem different from before ?", I heard Kayo say, "Why did you stronger ?" I grinned. "Because I am "Shinju"", I replied while smiling at June, "Don't push yourself nee ?" He looked at me surprised. I started to head towards the door without any other word. I could tell that June wanted to say something. But I didn't have the time to stay and listen. I walked towards where the area where "I" first appeared into this world. The shrine didn't seem to change much. I pulled out the pendant from the pocket of the skirt and looked at the faded blue stone in the center.

"Be strong", I mumbled while holding onto the pendant tightly, "Don't give up just yet."

I opened my eyes and found myself at the shrine of the Blue Moon. Why was I here ? I noticed that I was holding the pendant in my hand. Why ? "Shi~?", Jun asked me, "Shi~?" I looked at his confused face. I patted his head. 'So she helped ?', I thought as I put Jun down and held his hand, 'Thank you.' I looked up at the sky with a smile.

Thank you so much.....Akari.
