Chapter 11: Her New Friends

Ellika was in her room when she felt the presence of outsiders in the estate. She stood up and went down to the Testing Gates to investigate.

She saw three people with the groundskeeper Zebro.

She walked up to them casually. She smiled as Zebro bowed his head towards her. He was explaining the mechanics of the gates to the newcomers.

"Hello." She greeted the three. She knew they were the friends her brother talked about.

The three stared at her in awe.

'She's so pretty." They thought together.

"You must be Killua's friends." Ellika started not telling them who she was.

"Yes! I'm Gon! This is Leorio and Kurapika." Gon said excitedly as she approached the gates then looked at them.

"My name is Ellika." She said as she stared at Zebro who was sweating nervously not knowing how she would react that he had told them how to get in.

"Are you one of the people who work for Killua and his family?" Gon asked innocently. Zebro paled about to correct the child when he saw the stare Ellika gave him. It clearly told him to conceal her identity.

"I guess you could say that." Ellika said holding back a smile.

"Can you help us get in and find Killua, Ellika-san?" Gon asked curiously as he watched her place a hand on the gate.

"Call me Elli-nee. Any friend of Killua, is a friend of mine." She said smiling at Gon. "I'm sorry but I cannot help you. You have to do this on your own. I'll be waiting for you inside, okay?"

Gon nodded disappointed but understood that she may get in trouble for helping outsiders. "I understand, Elli-nee. We'll do our best." With one final smile she pushed the gate opening the fifth gate with ease.

Things were about to become more interesting. Ellika was excited. She went to see Canary on her post she smiled at the young girl and went on her way.

Meanwhile:

"You could only open the first gate but Elli-nee made opening the fifth gate look easy." Gon stated looking at the gate in awe. He turned to Zebro who explained that Killua could open the third gate.

"How could a pretty woman like Ellika open the fifth gates with ease?!" Leorio said exasperated

"The Zoldyck family and their workers are not normal people." Zebro stated vaguely.

The three finally opened the gates after two weeks of training, and went on to find Killua. They were watched by Ellika who used her perfected zetsu knowing their mother and Kalluto was nearby. Gon was stopped by Canary every time he tried to go through. Canary was touched by Gon's determination to see Killua and was about to let them pass when Kikyo knocked her out. Gon and his friends watch Kikyo and Kalluto walk away wondering why they didn't eliminate them on site. Unknown to them, Ellika made her presence known to her mother and brother making them retreat, not wanting to get involved in a confrontation with Ellika who was entertained by what was happening. She jumped out of her spot and landed in front of an injured Gon.

"Elli-nee!" Gon greeted surprised by her stealth.

"I declare that you passed." She said leaving the three confused. Ellika walked to Canary.

"Take them to the butler's quarters. I shall fetch Killua. Call my grandfather to relay my plan. Do not tell them who I am. I will let them find out on their own." Ellika whispered quietly. She helped Canary stand up.

Canary bowed at her. "I understand."

Ellika smiled at the three who stared at her with curiosity.

"Canary will guide you. Please follow her." Ellika smiled at Gon. Lightly caressing his injured face. Gon felt warmth and somehow the injuries didn't hurt that much anymore. He stared up at Ellika who smiled and jumped out of sight.

Ellika walked beside her grandfather. "Are you sure this will help him, Ellika?"

"Yes, grandfather. I assure you the next time you'll see him, Killua will be stronger." Ellika said with a smile. She waited outside the door as Zeno fetched Killua.

"Hello, Kil. We're gonna see your friends. But first, Papa wants to talk to you." Ellika helped Killua dress and used her nen to speed up the healing of Killua's injuries just as she did with Gon. She knew her borther did not notice it which made using it all the more fun.

Ellika again waited patiently. Her eyes closed as she held Killua's bag and a bag of her own. She had change back into a kimono Kalluto has chosen for her.

"What did Father made you promise?" Ellika asked curiously

"To never betray our family." Killua said then paused. "And to listen to you Elli-nee."

Ellika laughed softly at his response. Killua smiled and took his bag from his sister.

Killua and Ellika was stopped by Kikyo. She was distraught and saw Killua's cold glare at her.

"Ellika, talk some sense into Killua. Convince him to stay." Kikyo sobbed to her daughter who frowned.

"I'm sorry, Mama. But I have orders from Papa and Grandfather to follow Kil's wishes until my next mission." Ellika said as she took Killua's hand as they walked away.

She still held his hand and let her aura be felt by anyone near. Killua felt the aura and looked at her curiously.

"It'll make mother rethink of approaching us again." She said with a catlike smile. He returned the smile with his own catlike smile as he held her hand tighter.
