Third Person's POV:

The wind blows past his body, it's cool breeze making him shiver as it was near to Christmas. Lights were bright in the dull looking weather, people were covered in layers of clothing as well as Farkle. It was November 25th, snow wasn't falling yet it seemed like it would.

Even though it was November, you could hear people from shops saying "Christmas Sales!" or just singing Christmas Carols.

In Farkle's opinion, he wished that people would stop with the singing. Christmas carols reminded him of Riley, but he promised not to think about her anymore. To move on.

"Sir, would you like to be read?" An old lady says, Farkle shaked his head, trying to kindly reject the offer but the woman didn't seemed to move on.

"But sir, this will be for free!" She said, and Farkle was hesitant.

Should I?

Just for a joke?

"Fine then, I'll do it."

She brings him to a table nearby and places lots of cards upside down. Farkle knew what they did, but he didn't know if it was true. In this case, it could mostly be utter bullshit but most people do it anyway.

"Pick 3 cards." The lady said and Farkle randomly picked the cards. The lady puts the rest of the cards away and the two focused on the three cards in front of them.

She slowly turned around the first card, showing kids on a carousel. She smiles whilst saying, "This was your past, happiness and friends. You and your bestfriends were very close."

Farkle chuckles, slightly surprised that she mamaged to get his past with his friends right. We were so close.

She turns around the nest card and it showed a man getting killed next to a flower. She gasps, Farkle was confused.

"Your present is such a heartbreaking one, one sided love? No wonder you look so gloomy. The flower here looks so pretty, is she perfect to you?"

Farkle just stays quiet, he didn't want to talk about her.

'She's so perfect that I see a glowing light behind her...'

"Anyway," The lady said awkwardly, "Your future."

She slowly turns the last one, every card seemed to relate to his life. Maybe it was the truth the next one, maybe he needed to see what would happen.

As she turned the last card, a glimpse of a girl was seen. After she fully turned it around, his eyes were confused at what he was seeing. It looked as if it had nothing to with him.

It was a girl, with tears pouring down her cheek.

"Oh my lord, young man, this girl you love, please protect her." The lady said in shock, Farkle's focus was definitely on the card.

Riley?

Farkle's POV:

"Riley... What are you talking about? Love?" I said, whilst lying, I knew everything at this point. But I needed to stop. She had Charlie, I had my own life.

"Huh? You don't remember anything?" Riley said sadly, whilst letting go of me. I make a confused face.

Did she actually kiss me?
