All of a sudden I feel a presence behind me, I turn around and I see a girl around my age staring directly at me.
   "So I guess you're the bike Stealer?"
Her emerald eyes staring right at me. Her arms crossed, daring me to answer.

  "I.. Uhm... It's not what it looks like" I muttered uncertain of how to explain.
   What should I say? That I found a bike and decided to take it because I was too lazy to walk 8 blocks? That it mysteriously appeared on my street and I decided to bring it back to the owner?

   "Hmm? Are you thinking of making up a lame excuse of why you took it? Or are you just simply going to stand there?" Asked the girl who was accusing me of stealing her bike.

" Someone's on their period.. " I said underneath my breath.

" Excuse me?" Now she looked pissed , not my fault she can't control her hormones.

  "I said someone was chasing me .. So I took the bike to run away from them....?" It sounded more of a question then a statement.. How could I be so stupid?

  "Aha. So you think that's a good     excuse to take someone else's belongings?" She questioned.

   " No.. But I also don't think you should interrogate me for bringing back your bike, if anything you should be thanking me" I was suprised at my own words, I wouldn't have of said that to anyone.

     She was clearly shocked at my response , she simply nodded and took her bike and responded quietly
" alright then" leaving me by myself on the sidewalk.

   I immediately regretted answering her in that way. I walked my way back to my house, remembering what happened yesterday..I imagined people would already talking about it .

    Once I snuck into my house I was suprised my parents were still asleep. I climbed up the stairs quietly, opening the door to my room.
I sat on my bed and opened up my laptop , curious if anyone had posted videos of yesterday's event on Facebook.

   I logged onto Facebook and searched up people from my school who are known to go to parties etc.
I didn't even spend 5 minutes searching until I found a video that was titled;

" Hilarious video of Emo kid getting roasted! MUST WATCH!! "

     I clicked on the video to play and all the scenes of yesterday replayed on my head as it was shown on the screen. One of the football players posted it on his page, A.K.A Jake , the head of the football team the one who girls drooled over.

   I shut my laptop and layed on my bed, staring at the ceiling wondering if this is what they thought of me. Soon I drifted off to sleep, waking up at the night to eat an apple and sleep again.

       ◆ ☆Next Morning☆◆

     I woke up to a knock on my bedroom door, I quickly got up , glancing at my alarm clock, reading 8:34 a.m.

  I rubbed my eyes and walked to open the door , my mom stood there, eyes red and swollen from crying.
Without saying anything I hugged her , her tears dripping on my shirt as she leaned on my chest, sobbing. I stood there hugging her and stroking her hair as she calmed down, my chin was above her head as I was taller than her.

   When she finally was able to speak without stuttering she pulled her self away and said clearly " your father has left. "
       I wasn't suprised, he's done it many times but ends up coming back. I was about to assure her he would be coming back but she interrupted and stated;
   "He probably left with her.. I know it, I know he has another one. "

    She started sobbing again and I comforted her by telling her that he doesn't love anyone other than her and she should sleep it off. She was tired after all, she went to sleep in her bedroom.

       I changed my clothing into another pair of sweats and a blank white t-shirt. I thought of jogging to take things out of mind. I grabbed my phone and ear buds, plugging them into my ears as I closed the door as I exited my house. I put on Radioactive By Imagine Dragons.

         I started jogging getting lost in my thoughts, I suddenly bump into someone, unconsciously and immediately my hands shot forward, holding onto her waist preventing the fall.

" Uhm.." She muttered.

      I then realized how close our bodies were. We were literally breathing on each other. I let go of her waist immediately , she stepped back as I did so. I haven't made eye contact with her until now.

It was her.
