"Blaise, I have to tell you something," I said. It was the night of the Vamps concert and I was very excited to see them all perform for the first time. Syd is still in Birmingham with one of Brad's friends so it's just Blaise and I going to the concert. I was finishing off my beer, while Blaise was taking forever to get ready.
"Oh god, what did you do?" He laughed.
"Uh, it's not really what I did. It just kind of happened."
"Well get to it."
"I kind of have been seeing Bradley."
He looked at me very confused. "Who is Bradley?"
"Ya know? From the band we are about to go see. Brad Simpson?"
"Holy shit. How did you meet him?"
"He legitimately ran into me. Like full force, knocked everything I own to the ground. Then I saw him later that night by coincidence and we have been talking and hanging out ever since." I was scared to looked at him for some reason. I knew he wouldn't be mad, but I also was not too positive on what his reaction would be.
"Hell yeah, love to hear you're not all sad about Whit. Plus, Brad seems like a cool lad."
"He really is," I smiled at him. Just talking about him made me happy. It was a good feeling, a feeling I had missed a lot. "Oh but the boys all want to see you, so we have to go backstage at some point."
"Are you saying now that you have better connections than me? You radio DJ brother?"
"Yes, now let's go. Your hair looks fine," and swiftly walk out the door. I did not feel like wearing a dress tonight, so I had on my black skinny jeans with the slits at the knees, with my black Chelsea boots, and a one of those tight fitting shirts that like lace up. The shirt was pretty sexy if I say so myself, it showed a lot of boobage.
"You're literally begging for attention in that shirt," Blaise commented as we walked out of his apartment.
"Well, we will see if it works," I winked and we made our way to the tube station.
Blaise and I decided the best time to go see the boys was before their show, so I called Joe like I was instructed. Soon enough he met us at the stage door, and girls had obviously recognized him and were screaming at Joe. Blaise and I followed him to the green room where the boys were. I was like awkwardly trailing behind Blaise and Joe because they were talking about the BBC and such. We arrived at the door; Joe knocked and then opened it walking in. The boys all got up to say hi to Blaise and I.
When I got to Brad he pulled me in tight and whispered in my ear, "You look hot as hell right now babe."
I blushed and said, "Hi to you too." We pulled out of the hug but Brad left his arms around my waist, and I set my hands against his chest. "I'm excited to see you perform. This arena is huge, you got a lot of fans to impress."
"I'm only trying to impress one person, and I'm pretty nervous about it."
"You'll do fine," I leaned forward and pecked his lips. I completely forgot we were in a room full of people, when I heard Blaise clear his throat automatically making me laugh at my awkwardness.
"Hey mate, can I talk to you real quick?" Blaise asked Brad, to which he nodded and followed him out of the room. I just stood there with a confused look on my and decided to go introduce myself to James, Connor and Tristan's girlfriends. They all seemed very kind, and extremely welcoming which is always nice. I was very worried what Blaise was discussing with Brad. I knew it had to be about me, but I hope Blaise was not scaring the shit out of Brad.
Brad's POV
"Okay I don't mean to scare you or anything, but I'm actually happy to see my sister with you." Blaise started. I was convinced we was pulling me out here to tell me to lay off Charlie or something, so this was a nice surprise.
"Wait really?"
"Yeah mate, she clearly likes you. She never acted like this around Whit, it was like she was always embarrassed of him or something. You do like her don't you, please tell me you're not just playing her?"
"No mate I actually do really like her. Like a whole damn lot." I said confidently. It's true I do really like Charlie. I liked her so much it scared me.
"Well good. And I can tell you she's not going to be scared of anything you throw at her. Charlie is the toughest person I know. Being her older brother I should probably be the tough one, but she takes the cake in that. No matter how much shit she could get from paparazzi or your fans it literally won't make her falter. We deal with that shit because of our parents, and she has never been fazed. If you are the goal she will not let anything get in the way, but handle everything with supreme class. She never ceases to amaze me how driven but humble she is. So I only ask you one thing if you choose to pursue things further with her. Please just treat her with the upmost respect, and she will treat you 10 times better than you would ever expect."
"Wow, thanks Blaise. She really is something special and I'm beyond ready for her to be mine. I will treat her the best way I can man, I promise you that." I nod at him. I always forget that she has been around her parents when they have had to deal with petty paparazzi. Her dad being a politician gets it more than her mother, because his decision are so crucial so it was kind of good to know that she would not be put down at all by fans if she got hate.
"Good, now go kill it on stage. I can tell you Charlie is so excited to see you own it."
"Thanks again, Blaise."
"No problem." He gave me a bro hug and we went back into the green room where I couldn't keep my eyes off his beautiful sister. Joe as on cue came in and told us we had to head to stage. I walked over to Charlie giving her another hug.
"Please tell me I am going to see you after." I looked in her eyes and she smiled.
"Absolutely," she nodded. I leaned forward, bringing her closer to me and gave her one last kiss before I headed to stage and she made her way to her seat.
I plan to knock her socks off with this performance... wish me luck.
