Chapter 8

I got out of my car and walked to the school entrance and passed the doors. I headed to my best friend and smiled.

"Hey man, what up?" I asked doing some weird guy hand shake with my best friend, Nash.

(Idk about you guys but my dad always does some man hand shake with his guy friends and my uncles and says something like what up? Or what's poppin? Idk, but, like...... yeah. comment if you can relate XD)

"Just got together with that girl I've been tellin you about"

"ah my boy became a man" i laughed.

He shook his head. "Nah ive been man since day one"

"Sure you have" I said sarcastically.

"Anyway what about you? You asked sky out yet? You've been having your eye on her for a while now."

"Havent"

Nash was the only person besides my old manager who knew I had a thing for sky. And that's how I was gonna keep it. No one has any business knowing about what goes on in my life.

"Bruh you need grow some balls and ask her out already"

"I know man, but it's not that easy and i dont think its the time to. She's been going threw hell right now"

"What happened? She alright?"

"Yeah she's okay, its just just that her sister died and she's been out of it lately, caught her drinking once"

"Damn, that's alot. I'll go by and get her a teddy bear or some shit girls like"

That comment made me laugh. The man's a womanizer but has no clue what they are into. Classsic Nash. We walked the halls as we were heading to our class. I noticed some girls were eyeing us.

"Anyway, Brad is throwing some party to celebrate the upcoming home football game. You in?"

"Yeah, when?"

"Next friday"

"Kay"

With that said, class started and the day went by. As I was about to leave I caught sight of sky putting her stuff away in her locker. I walked over to her.

"Hey princess"

She turned to me and smiled.

"Hey....."

She finished putting her stuff away and closed her locker. She turned to me and I captured her lips. She kissed back as my hands were at her waist.

"What does this make us?" She said between the kisses.

I pulled away from her and looked into her eyes.

"I was hoping it would make us be together but thats not how I wanted to ask"i chuckled.

"Sky......I have feelings for you that I can't explain to control......... I know your going through a lot at the time but I can't fight how I feel about you...........Every time I look at you, or I think about you, a smile always comes on my face. Your a dork and your stubborn and can sometimes be retarded as a 3 year old but that's only a small portion of your best qualities.....sky would you be my girlfriend?"

She looked at me for a second. "How do I know your not just saying this and the next day your with someone else? Raven, Your a womanizer and could get a girl to drop her top with snap of a finger"

"Sky..... I have never snapped fingers at a girl...."

She laughed. "Raven im being serious here...."

I smiled "Sky, I have never in my life confessed to a girl, let alone cared enough about how they feel, or if they were okay.....sky I never cared about someone other than family. You are the first"

She smiled. "Than since your not playing me, I would like to be your girlfriend"

"Your being serious right? Cuz if you aren't this is a cruel joke"

She laughed. "Yes I am being serious"

I smiled and picked her up spinning her around while she squealed. I laughed and kissed her as she kissed back.

"Well since we're together, you should know something"

"And what is that love?"

"Your my cuddle buddy from this day foward"

I rolled my eyes. "I was right, you are a dork"

She laughed. I then placed my arm around her shoulder and walked her to my car. I then drove her home.
