Peter
I stood in front of the school gates, waiting for Aquata my girlfriend to come. I was distracted by my phone that I didn't realise my best mate Ben tapping me on the shoulder. "Hey Peter." Ben started as he stood next to me, watching the girls walk past making me roll my eyes."Hey what's up?" I asked him, replying with a smile as I put my phone back into my pocket.
"Have you given much thought to leaving town for a few days." He spoke which made me roll my eyes at him, as if that would ever work.
"Who are you going to going pester today?" I asked him, hoping that would change the subject Ben just chuckled before patting my shoulder afterwards leaving.
"Nah, I don't know I was actually thinking of that Jack guy." He smirked he knows that I've always wanted to get payback on Jack, because he hurt my girlfriend.
The bus pulled up in front of me and I watched the people coming off it, seeing that Aquata wasn't on it. "Where's Aquata?" I asked myself, then I heard her calling my name from down the street. I turned and slowly started walking towards her, she was laughing along with her brother. She stopped laughing when she noticed me in front of her, smiling down at her, she smiled in return, reaching up for a kiss on my cheek, only for me to turn my head forcing her lips to press against mine.
Every morning was my favourite part of the day because I got to see her. She makes me happy and everything else, I couldn't be me, if she wasn't with me. Charlie didn't like the idea of seeing his sister and I have a moment so he walked between us. "Woah, just had my breakfast could you please not?" he asked, and I laughed with Aquata, as I held her in my arms giving her another kiss.
I haven't seen her for three days; I've been away on camp for the academy, and we weren't even allowed phones, but that didn't stop me, from breaking the rules. "Peter, did you finish the assignment for biology?" Aquata asked concerned, I knew she didn't finish hers I finished mine however I know how much she needs a pass Biology.
"You didn't finish it I'm guessing?" she nodded, and she looked down then I just forced her to look up at me. "Aqua, you're much smarter and more focused on education than me, what's going on?" I asked her again, placing my hands on her cheeks.
"I don't know, I'm struggling Peter." I held her in close for me. "If I fail my father will kill me, I've got a lot of things going on at the moment." Things that I didn't even know, like we tell each other everything, but I didn't know what she was going through.
"Don't worry, I will help you out." I assured her, wiping away her tears. "You'll be fine, I promise you that, what have you done so far?" I asked letting her go as she grabbed her assignment out.
"Three quarters of it." I looked at it and it was pretty good. "I still have so much to do." Aqua added, I handed it back to her and she let some more tears fall.
"I've finished mine now! It's not as good as yours but we can switch them over, it's not going to give you a top mark, like you're used to but it will give you at least a passing grade." I smiled as I handed her mine, she opened it and smiled wide.
"You would do that for me?" I nodded, as we swapped laptops. "I love you Peter." I smiled pulling her in for a kiss.
"I love you too." She giggled wrapping her arms around my neck. "Hey, I was thinking, maybe we should leave Melbourne for the weekend?" I asked her and she nodded releasing her arms from my neck.
"Yeah I would like that." Aquata smiled replying to my question as we walked into the school gates together. "You didn't just agree to Ben's suggestion did you, when you always say that it will never work." Aquata asked.
