Third Chapter

Peter
I didn't sleep a wink last night because I was scared that I'd hurt Aqua. I watched her sleep soundly on my chest. Throughout the night, the nurses came in and tried to move me, but I wouldn't, I couldn't. I hated these hospital beds, but Aqua was omitted into the hospital which meant that I wasn't going to be leaving her side.

I needed to get up and I tried very carefully not to wake up Aqua, I managed not to and sat beside her on the seat, I grabbed a hold of her hand carefully not to wake her up. I looked at the features on her face, saw the black eye, busted lip, hand print on her face, wishing that had never happened to her, she doesn't deserve that mistreatment. She had a few snitches in her hand, and couple on her cheek, but she was a fighter, she'd get through this.

"I'm so sorry Aqua, I'm the reason why you're in here." I told a sleepless Aqua she soon woke up and I looked at her with tears coming down my eyes, I just didn't want to see her get hurt because I'm with her.

"Hey, Peter why are you crying?" She asked as she slowly grabbed my face and pulled me down with her smiling, with that smile I felt ten times better, I wiped my tears away. "Hey, what's the matter?" She continued as I didn't reply quick enough, for her likeness.

"I can't hurt you anymore, it's killing me I can't just sit here. I can't watch the reason for my existence in the A&E because I couldn't stop someone hurting you." I cried, looking down at the ground, only for her to force me to look at her. 

"Peter, you had people holding you back. Peter, I don't care how many times I must be sent to Accident and Emergency." She paused and moved closer to me, pulling me in for a hug. "As long as I have you Peter I don't care, where I am, you're my world." She told me as we were about to lean in and give each other a quick peck, there was a loud knock on the door, I kissed her anyways, I needed to.

"Oh, my goodness, I'm sorry." I heard Ben speak as he walked in making us pull away from one another. "Can we come in?" He asked and Aqua nodded letting Ben and the gang in, Ben walked over to Aqua and carefully kissed her forehead.

"Oh my gosh sister." I heard Charlie, he rushed in, and Ben moved aside to let Charlie stand beside her. "What happened?" he continued, I went to close the door, I heard sniffling from Charlie, and I tried to hold back my tears as well.

"I was about to walk to the bus stop to go to school, mother and father had already gone, when Mason and Sophie pulled up in front of the house." I turned around and walked beside her holding her hand. "When he attacked me, I tried to fight him off." Charlie shook his head and placed his hand on his sister's cheek.

"You have nothing to be sorry for." He assured his sister and faced me. "Did you do anything?" He asked, I shook my head in no. "Could you do anything?" I once again shook my head in no, he turned his attention back to Aqua.

"Oh my god I should have been a better brother." Charlie added, I leaned down and kissed her forehead. "I promise I'll never leave again; we will go to school together from now on." She shook her head in no.

"You two can't protect me forever, all of us have been through this situation too many times." I nodded in agreement, this must stop but we have no power to stop it, we couldn't stop it. Harry walked over to Aqua grabbing her hand kissing it carefully. "Harry, you owe me a basketball rematch." He chuckled as he flipped his hair to the side. Next person to come and hug Aqua was Lilli, who leaned down and kissed her cheek carefully not to touch her snitches.

"You're like my sister, I promise to always look out for you, even though I hated you when we first met." I chuckled at that and so did many of us in the room. "Love you sis." Harry added. "I'm sorry but father is going mad, he'll figure it out, I have to go." She nodded and leaned up which caused her a slight bit of pain, to give him a hug.
