Prologue - Walpurgis Fire

1961. Augurs Ville.

Aragorn Castle was set on fire in Walpurgis Night and everyone from the Archdukes family were staked and burned alive by the village people. Gossip spread that the archduke and his family are vampires and yes, they truly are, but these creatures love humans. They are the ones who protected this human village for many years. Never did they imagine that the very people who they have sworn to protect will be the one who will execute and kill them.

'Agnieszka, come! We have to leave.' Her nanny woke her up.
The little girls sleepy eyes looked at her nanny with confusion.
'Wheres mother and father?' she asked.
'We don't have time. We need to go now. Come child!' her nanny said as she carry the girl and run to one of the secret doors that will lead them to safety.

Agnieszka searched for her parents but never saw them. Then darkness surround her and her nanny as they enter a long and dark chamber. Her nanny kept on running like a hunted prey trying to escape.

When she saw the light at the end of the dark tunnel, she whispered to the girl, 'Sleep, my child. You will be safe!'
The little girl nodded her head in daze and closed her eyes.
