Aria saw the warriors closing in on her but she still looked relaxed. In split second, the warriors are around her and were about to slash her with their swords but were overthrown by an unknown force. When the Sangria look back at her, her ancient mystique guardians are standing in front of her, prepared for the kill. The warriors weren't discouraged and attacked again. This made the other Sangria follow suit and pounce on her as well. In all the commotion, Aria sit still, looking bored while watching the gruesome death of the many Sangria. One by one Remus and Romulus took the souls of the warriors who died, thus becoming stronger. Ross saw the struggle of his men so he called upon Castor and Pollux for help.

The ancient mystique guardians clash with each other but with Castor and Pollux's weakened state, Remus and Romulus has the upper hand. One of the Marquis attacked Aria and tried to lash her neck with his sword. She didn't move but raise her arm to brace the impact. She was hit and blood is spilled from the arm she used to block the sword. Her eyes turned crimson red and her fangs appeared but she didn't even flinched. Suddenly Ross cursed and dropped on his knees. His guardians helped him up while everyone stopped to look at him.

'Son, what happened? Who attack you?' Sebastian panicked as he asked Ross.

Aria saw him struggling with his bloody arm as Sebastian helps him stand up. She felt infuriated at seeing Ross fell. With that she stand up and grab the Marquis by the neck and took his soul without remorse. The wound was healed immediately as the Marquis die. She then step towards Ross, the Sangrias eyeing her with fear and hostility, her staring at her beloved with mixed emotions. She stopped in front of him and met his gaze. Then her eyes wandered on his wound, her hand raising up and touching it lightly as if afraid to hurt him. Then she closed her eyes and her hands glow with warmth as she heal him. Once healed, she opened her eyes again and turned her head.

'Ross is my beloved. He and I are already bonded. I believe you already know the implication of that but to make things clear, which means whatever happens to me will happen to him as well. You have witnessed it. So those who want to kill me will have to kill him too.' She paused and grinned at the Sangrias and the King and Queen who stares back at her with disbelief. 'So tell me, are you willing to kill your Prince?'

'Curse you, damned child!'

'Curse me all you want but this battle was over even before it started. I won the battle and conquered the war.'

All Sangrias stopped and faced her is resignation. How will they be able to kill her at the cost of their Prince's life? Aria smirked as she stand beside Ross. Seeing all Sangrias weakened and suffering gave her satisfaction. Then she turned to look at Ross. Finding him staring at her with lost eyes made her retreat internally. She knew right there and then that she will have to make a decision. She knew that fate made her decision. Because upon seeing Ross' eyes she knew that he love her and hate her at the same time, and his hate more prominent than his love.

He had abandoned her.

With that, she masked her emotions and gave him her stoic face.

'So is there one single Sangria who will try and kill me? If none, then pledge your allegiance to me and serve me well for all eternity.' She spoke as a Queen.

No one moved but turned their heads and gazes to the Royal family. Sebastian looks at her with fury. Siriana with fear. The Sangrias with hatred. And Ross with resignation. She stared back at everyone maddened at the full disrespect and disobedience. She released her powers as she spoke to them in an evil, calm and deep voice.

'So be it.'

With that, she focused all her energy and consumed the souls of the Sangrias. Blinding lights spread from within her bursting out and dissolving the Sangrias. Even her guardians disappeared after the light faded. The Royal family were left standing. Still alive.

'I do not wish for this to happen but fate forbids me to oppose their course.'

'What do you wish to fulfill by this? If we die, no one will be left to serve you.' Sebastian questioned.

'I do not want to rule you. Do you know why half-bloods are not allowed to be born and live? That is because half-bloods are the incarnated souls of the death god. And we all know what the death god does. My true mission as the death god is to eliminate all vampires still living in this world. I am sorry for everything.'

And with that, Aria released all her remaining power and took the souls of her last preys.

Before Ross' soul fades, she took his hand and kiss it as they stare at each other with love and acceptance.

'We will now be together. For eternity.'

Ross smiled and hugged her, his fingers trailing on her cheeks as he dip his lips on her. Aria smiled back with tears in her eyes and sadness in her heart.

Bright lights blanketed the surrounding.

The morning pane gave way to the rays of the shining sunrise and as the morning breeze entered the grand hall, it swept away the remaining ashes of the last half-blood and her beloved Sangria Prince.

THE END.
