Aria opened her eyes remembering everything now. Her eyes grew crimson and her fangs sharpened.

'Appear before me, Remus and Romulus. Heed my call and protect your mistress.' She called her familiars.

A bright light came from within her blinding the men who attacked her. In a blink of an eye, a shadow took form and pulled the man strangling her and send him flying into the wall.

'No one harms our mistress without getting killed. You may have wounded us before but we will never let you do it again!' Remus hissed at the suited man.

In an instant Remus grabbed the man's neck and bit his throat. The punk was pulled away by another shadow and was bitten as well. Both bodies shimmered and dissolved in the air.

Romulus, the other shadow who killed the punk, helped Aria stand up. When Remus approach her the red in her eyes and her fangs disappeared.

'I apologize for letting you sleep too long and for not remembering until now.' Aria said as they leave the deserted road. Good thing there is no one on this street they are on. The trio stepped into an alley and walked out on the other side. They blended into the crowd as they go back to her apartment.

Once inside, she stalk towards the floor-to-ceiling glass window and face them. Remus and Romulus bow down as they spoke.

'We understand what happened, Mistress. We know you intentionally blocked those memories away when you fell in slumber. We are just glad that you have awakened and remembered.'

'And if you didn't remember how to release us, we would have forced it. We pledged our loyalty to protect you and will do so whatever the circumstance may be.'

'I greatly appreciate that from the both of you. By the way, I didn't know there are still vampires in this century. I thought they are long gone.'

'We are not sure what happened but those vampires we have met are from a different clan.' Romulus stated pertaining to the two vampires who attacked her.

'Sangria. I remember they are the ones who attacked us before. They are still alive.' Aria muttered while looking at her two guardians.

'Yes. But we are not sure that they survived.'

'Solas were exterminated. They are the only other clan among our species that I can think of. Unless there are others who rose after we were gone.'

'I believe they are from Sangria. No one will try to attack Sangria. Not with the king alive.'

'I know.' She sigh then gave a huff.

'Do you remember your promise to Agatha?' Romulus ask her.

'I should have made her into one of us so that she will still be here but her human life is very important to her and she made me promise not to take it away. And yes, I remember my promise.'

Agatha is a skilled fighter and the one who taught her how to fight and defend herself. When they escaped the attack on her home, Agatha told her everything she needs to know, what her real purpose is and why she needs to live. She promised that when the right time comes, she will fulfill her purpose. To end everything.

Now that she has remembered. The death god's mission begins.

'You can't be known yet so make sure to keep a low profile. You know what to do. Find them and get enough power for when the time comes, we will need everything we got to eradicate them.' Aria stated.

'Your wish is our command, Mistress.' Romulus and Remus answered with a slight bow.

'Go now.'

The two step back and out of the house, disappearing from her sight. Then she stared at the sky outside, the sun shining brightly at her. She let out a deep breath.
