As she walks down the alley, Alison wonders what she's doing. "Well, he knew father. Then he couldn't possibly be THAT bad. Right?" she said (talking to yourself IS weird, everybody do it sometime, though.)
She knocks on the door of the house furthest back. A man dressed in jeans and a white T-shirt opens the door. His hair doesn't even have the slightest sign of grey (even though it should have. I mean, he's fifty or late-forties.) "Come in. Luke is in the kitchen" he says in a deep voice. As Captain leads Alison through the hall, she asks: "Who's Luke? " "My ...eh... partner." They walked through another door into the kitchen. "Luke. Say hi to Alison" says Captain. When she walked pass Captain, she saw Luke. A handsome-looking guy standing before the window looking out on the alley.
"Hi, Alison. Nice to finally meet you" he says.
"Now, back to business. Alison, this is the letter your father gave me a week before he died" says Captain as he gives Alison a big brown envelope. "Why you? Don't take this the wrong way, but why you? I mean, he never even mentioned you."  "Let's say, he kind of worked with me." "And why, if I may ask, couldn't I get the letter when I was eight?" "You're father said specifically that you must be at least eighteen."

"I've waited ten years. I'm not waiting another year! You hear me? First I had to kill the pretty mommy, then I've waited for genius daddy, now I had to wait ten years to clear my tracks. Now I want my tracks cleared. And fast. I can only wait this long. And that's final."

"How did your meeting go Alison?" asked her aunt as she walked through the front door. "O it actually went well. I think..." Alison says as she closes the door behind her. She ran up to her room and opens the envelope, getting out the letter, witch read:

                        ~¤~¤~

Dear  darling Alison

If you're reading this I  could not be there  to tell it to you myself.  You're eighteen now and in the next year many things will change in your life

Alison's phone rang ...
"Hello..."
"Heyy...it's Luke , I was wondering if you would like to meet for coffee?"
"Uhmm....I would love to "
