Where Did He Go?

Chapter Fourteen

I had left Joe a note on the bench saying that I'm at the shops and I'll be back soon. I had shopped for clothes because every girls needs to shop sometimes. Oh and I forgot! Tomorrows my birthday and I'll be turning 20. Spending the day by myself. I was so ashamed that everyone I knew was busy. I got that out of my mind and shopped. I didn't know what to buy and kept thinking about the everyone was busy thing on my birthday. I went back up to my apartment and saw that Joe was having a nap on the couch. He must of not got enough sleep last night. I put a blanket on him and make myself a salad. Joe had slept till 4:28. He woke up and looked at his watch. "Shit! I have to start packing for tomorrow!" He says worried. He gets up and starts to pack. While he start to pack, I get myself a drink and sit out in the balcony.

Then I start to feel sick. I quickly ran inside and went to the toilet. I start to throw up heaps and heaps that I get it in my hair. I have sat next to the toilet for 15minutes now throwing up. I finally being ok and get in the shower. I don't throw up for about 5 minutes and then back to throwing up a bit. I heard that Joe came in and sat on the toilet seat. "Cassie? Are you ok?" He asked kindly. "No. I don't seem too well!" I replied back then throws up again. He then gets me a bucket and passes it to me in the shower. I kept throwing up in the bucket a couple of times. I then got out when it stopped. I get out and Joe gets me a towel and wraps it around me. "Here. Pass me the bucket. I'll wash it out." He sweetly said. It was so nice of him to help me. I then dry myself and get into my clothes. I get into my side of the bed and see that my electric blanket is on. Joe must of done that when he heard me throwing up. He hands me the bucket and I put it right next to me and then put the tv on.

"I'll make you some tomato soup that'll make you feel better." He sweetly said to me. As I said, it was so sweet that he was doing everything for me. I didn't want to speak much because if I opened my mouth I thought I was going to throw up. I turned the tv on in my room and put on my favourite, American Horror Story Freak show. I can't stop watching it! 15minutes later. Joe comes out with my soup. He gives it to me carefully not to spill it. "Thankyou Joe." I whispered. I wanted to kiss him but I didn't want to get him sick. He left the room and took a shower. The soup was so delicious and hot. It made me quite a bit better. I fell asleep with the tv still on.

Joesph POV
I had just got out of the shower and I see that Cassie had fell asleep. I turn the Tv off and took her soup and rinse it out. I then got a text from Hollie saying:
Hollie: Hey Joe. Me and Bethi have got the decorations all up. We just need help with the balloons.
Joesph: I'll be right over.

I got my keys and walked out the apartment and got into my car. I drove to the club that took only10minutes. Once I got there and went inside and Hollie surprisingly said "Finally! Your here! Come." She pulls my arm and drags me over where the balloons are. "So where are we going to put the balloons?" I asked. "Well, these balloons float to the ceiling so ya. And we got some other balloons that are glow in the dark." Bethi excited. There were a lot of balloons to blow up.. Like...A LOT! It felt like I was going
to passout. It took us nearly two hours to blow all the balloons up. I couldn't count how may balloons there were up on the ceiling. I had a break and sat down on a seat. "How's Cassie?" Hollie asked. "Right now she's sick but I think she'll be alright tomorrow." I replied. "Make sure she doesn't end up being sick tomorrow or this party will fail!" She said worriedly. I nod and start to blow the glow in the dark balloons. There was only 25balloons in the packet that was fine. I then asked Bethi "Where do theses balloons go?" She replied with "Just spread them out on the floor." When it was all done, Hollie, Bethi and I stepped back and look at the full results.

"Wow! It's looking great!" I said excitedly. They both nodded their heads. "We just need the alcohol and the glasses. Oh wait.. There are some here." Bethi said. "Finn and Kaycie are bringing some along and others if they are. " I said to Bethi. We then left and drove off in our cars. It was about 6:41 now. Wow! Time goes really fast theses days. Before I went to the apartment, I stopped at Subway to get dinner because I was staring and I didn't feel like making anything back at the apartment. I haven't taste Subway in awhile. It was so delicious. I called Finn to check if the cake was ok and he said it was fine. I drove off and went back to the apartment. When I stepped in, there was silence. I walked quietly to check on Cassie. She was still sleeping. I stroked her face and kissed her on the forehead. I sat on the couch and watch abit of tv. My eyes started to be tired and started to shut. I opened my eyes and got up and turned the Tv off. I walked down the hallway to my room and into my bed. I shut my eyes and went to sleep.

I woke up at 8:45 and got up. I saw that Cassie was still asleep. Cassie is getting a lot of sleep for tonight that she doesn't know about! I got up and got dressed in a easy outfit. What was really in my suitcase was my party outfit and bottles. I had left the apartment and bought something for Cassie. I had bought a bouquet of red roses and 5 blocks of chocolates. I quickly brought the gifts back to the apartment and put them on the kitchen bench and wrote a letter then left. I drove to Finns house to meet up with Kaycie,Scott,Hollie and Bethi. I picked up Scott and drove straight to Finns house. We are finally at Finns house and I say curious "Finn.. How are we going to bring the cake without messing it?" We all thinked about it and was all getting worried. "I'm not really sure?" He said curious.
