Halloween Harmonies

Ryder's POV

   I walked into the Glee classroom and passed Savannah talking to Puck and Finn. I sat down one seat over from Blaine and Kurt, and waited for Mr. Schue to come into the classroom.

   "So Ryder, I heard that you asked out Savannah" Rachel said, randomly appearing next to me. 

   "Ermm....Yeah" I said.

   "SO?!" She exclaimed.

   "What?" I asked, playing dumb because I didn't want to answer.

   "WHAT DID SHE SAY?!" Kurt jumped into the conversation from across Blaine.

   "KURT! RACHEL! DON'T BE RUDE!" Blaine scolded.

   "Oh please, you're only saying that cause you know what happened" Kurt justified.

   "Yeah, so what did she say?" Rachel continued.

   "She said no" I told them.

   "Oh, i'm sorry Ryder" Rachel apologized.

   "Don't worry, she'll come around" Kurt encouraged.

   "Sorry man" Blaine said.

   "It's fine you guys. It's not that big of a deal" I lied.

   "Okay you guys! Take your seats!" Mr. Schue said, walking into the room.

Thank God!

   Savannah went to sit down, and sat between me and Blaine.

   "So, who knows what this Thursday is?" Mr. Schue asked.

   "Mr. Tubbington's half birthday" Brittany said, and we stared at her, confused.

   "Ummm....No.....Halloween!" He announced.

   "Wait, so what's the assignment for this week?" Sam asked.

   "Halloween inspired songs!" Mr. Schue answered.

   After he announced that, he went on to suggest some songs, and he mentioned how he wants us in costumes for our performances, and that we couldn't get away with not performing so that we don't have to dress up, because we're all doing a number together at the end of the week. I wasn't really sure what to perform or wear, I haven't really worn a halloween costume since I was 11.

   Towards the end of class, he let us mingle to form groups or think of performance ideas. Savannah was in a group with Brittany and Mike. They're probably planning on doing a big dance number. Puck was talking with Finn, Sam, Joe, and Artie, and they called me over. We planned on doing a guy group thing.

Savannah's POV

*Free Period*

   I was sitting in the back of the library, in a corner where no one else was, and I was doing my homework. I know it sounds kinda've loser-ish, but I didn't really have anything else to do.

   "What're you doing in here, nerd?" Ryder appeared next to me suddenly, making me jump.

   "You scared me!" I said.

   "Perfect for this week's assignment then, huh?" He said.

   "Well, as long as you're practicing" I joked.

   "Wanna get out of here?" He asked.

   "And go where...?" I asked.

   "I'm not sure yet, but free-periods are kinda've our thing so.....come on!" He said, and helped me get up.
