Hello lovely world! Some of my friends started to write stories on Wattpad, so I thought I would too, plus I've kinda had this idea for a story for a while so I thought bugger it (I'm a New Zealander now) and I wrote it, please let me know of you want me to continue!
The 2015 Apocalypse
2015. That's all we have left of that year. The numbers themselves. In 2015, a powerful antibiotic to cure all illnesses went completely wrong. It was meant to stop people feeling pain, and that's what it did. It took away all types of pain, injuries, illness, emotional pain, until they had no mental awareness. The medicine ate away at their brains. It was of course painless, but it left them dangerous and hungry for others brains. Then the whole world changed. People started to scavenge for food when shops no longer opened, many were killed by others who were scared to take any chances. Wives turned against husbands, friend against friend, brothers against sisters. Humans had officially lost their humanity. This world was no place for 15 year old girls. We couldn't change what we have seen and had to do. But we were surviving and we still are.

"Ok passengers, we are now about to land for half an hour only to refuel the aircraft, please remember that we will take off without passengers if you are not aboard the aircraft in half an hour"
Great, I thought. Soon, we would be in Gran Canaria and on the way back, we would stop again in the UK for two weeks or so. I smiled to myself, it had been two years since I'd seen my best friends in person and I was hoping we could go to town again, like we used to. "Uh oh, I need the toilet!" Chloë exclaimed. Chloë is my little sister, only 12 years old, with mild autism, so she wasn't afraid to shout when she needed to pee. " Nicole, could you take her?" My mum asked. "Sure" I simply replied. So we got off the plane, and headed towards the nearest toilets. After Chloë had finished, me and her started to head back when I heard something that changed my life. "The flight to Gran Canaria is now leaving the gate" Chloë and I looked at each other and sprinted towards the plane. I knew that I had three choices at that moment. Option one was that we both miss the flight, and wait for my mum and dad to fly to Gran Canaria then back to England. However, I ruled that out quickly when I remembered my sister was prone to screaming and shouting, and I didn't want hell for about 8 hours. Option two was for me to leave her, but I would rather die than leave my sister alone, and option three was for me to quickly push her onboard, and tell a flight assistant to take her to my mum and dad. However that would leave me...Alone.
The plane door was halfway closed when we got there, I pushed Chloë onboard the plane, the older woman who was a air hostess look shocked, so I quickly said "please take her to Stuart and Louise Thorburn, they're our parents. Also tell them I'll call grandad and have him pick me up" I said, tears starting to flow. The woman nodded briskly, and shut the door.
I watched the plane take off, I knew Chloë would find mum and dad, but I was left in a country I felt like I no longer remembered.
