Hello people of earth! I've written another chapter to this very odd story, but this chapter is really just a filler so I can move on the writing more 'interesting' stuff :-) you'll meet the other main characters in the next chapter (I think you guys now know who you are ;-) ) anyways after THAT chapter, the zombies are coming!

I pulled out my phone, and rang my grandad's home number. Luckily for me, he was at home. "Hello?" He asked, "hi grandad!" I exclaimed. " Oh hello Nicole! What are you doing calling me? You should be on the plane to Gran Canaria!"

"Well...um... I'm actually at Heathrow airport" I said sadly. "Can you pass me to your mam Nicole?" He said confused.

"That's why I'm calling you, Mum, Dad and Chloë are all on a plane to Gran Canaria, and I'm not with them" I waited for his reply, wondering how he would take to me being by myself in my birth country.

"Ok then, I'll be there in a hour, then you have some explaining to do" he replied.

"Ok, bye!" I said, then hung up. It was lucky that I had a nice grandad who would come down to London when I was all alone. I looked through my bag, which hung down my left side. It was only small, so inside there was my phone, a small Paris themed wallet, and a few sweets. I opened the purse and counted how many dollars I had in there. Fortunately, I had about $9 (about £4.50) so I went and got a drink and waited for my grandad to arrive.

William Preston was a retired taxi driver. He was one day happy lounging about when he got a fairly confusing call from his oldest granddaughter, she was in the country alone. He, of course, got in the car immediately and drove to Heathrow airport. He spent the trip wondering what the hell she was doing by herself, and if her mam, dad and sister were ok...

After about an hour, I got a call from my grandad, so I went to the car park to meet him. As I slowly approached the car, I realised that I haven't see him in two years. He got out the car with tears in his eyes and gives me one of them big grandad bear hugs. (Now, my grandad is about 6.1 so I was practically crushed due to my normal size of 5.6.) After the reunion hug, we got into the silver Volvo and headed back towards Milkingham, the place where I was born and raised.

My grandad asked me a lot of questions on the way back, so I told him the answers truthfully. (I mean, why would I lie?) He told me that he first thought that I had purposely left myself behind, but he then thought I should be given a medal when he realised that I got left behind for my sister. We drove to my grandad's house, where he has lived for pretty much for about 20 years or so, but it still look the same as I remember which was nice to know. It was a brick house, which had been around since the 50's I think. It had a cottage theme to it, with a traditional fire place."You can sleep in the second room until we sort everything out" Grandad said. "I would show you around, but I think you know where everything is" He also added. I laughed."Thanks" I paused then asked,"Would you mind running me up to town? I think it's time I saw a few friends" He got up again from the old chair he was sat in and nodded knowingly. I decided I'd go to Emily Shott's house first, since I though she would be pretty pissed if she was the last to know I was in the country, then we would walk to Meg's, then Kim's.Maybe we could go to town after that? Just like we used to...

Also, I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I've had a bit of trouble writing this story due to my lack of imagination :-/ so I'm sorry if it's not my best chapter so far (bearing in mind this is the second chapter). Bye bye lovely peoples! ----Nicole x
