Forgotten- a Niall Horan fanfiction

The mountaintop confession

I wake up, and have a shower before anyone else wakes up. I let the water drip down my skin, and shave my underarms before lathering my body in soap.
I stand there for a few minutes and then grab a towel and dry myself.
When I get out to get changed, I walked past Abby's bed and close the curtains.
I grabbed my cropped tee and overalls and popped on some socks and hop into bed before checking my twitter to see that I've gained 2000 followers and one from Tyler Oakley.
I wasn't really that excited, I don't know why. I guess I already had my celebration when he retweeted me.
I look over to Shannon's bed where she struggles to get up.
"Oh, hi" she smiles in a cute morning voice.
"Hey" I reply.
She gets up and changed into a vintage bicycle floppy cropped tee and galaxy leggings.
"So I woke up and you were outside with niall?" she says.
"Oh, uh I'll tell you later" I laugh.
"Tell what later?" I her Abby say from her bed in the corner.
"I'll tell you later" I laugh again, then she joins in.

2 hours later

Everyone's gathered in the hall again, but niall and Louis weren't here yet. I really wanted to see niall, I don't know why, but there was something about him that pulled me in for more.
Kerrie starts explaining how were going hiking up the mountains. I wasn't really looking forward to it.
Then niall and Louis sneak in through the back and come sit Down, and niall sits next to me, and really close (which I can totally put up with)
"We're going bush walking" I say towards Louis and niall, and I catch niall smiling at me.
Everyone turns back to Kerrie, and then I feel niall sliding his hand onto my thigh.
"Not now" I snap, and he quickly pulls away.
"Sorry" he murmurs and I can sense the cheeky grin on his face.
"You know last night... I really hope you had as much fun as me" Niall says, leaning his chin on my shoulder.
"I did" I say with the biggest grin.

2 hours later

We walked over another bridge, but this one was scariest. We were in a group of 5 which was Abby, Shannon, niall, Louis and I.
Over the whole walk, Abby and Shannon were being flirted with by Louis. They did like him, but I hope that they don't get their hearts broken. I know Abby had never fallen inlove, and I'm very cautious of that. I've had plenty of history with boys, and definitely not the best. I've had my Heart broken more than i can count, but I never wanted to.
The bridge was swinging over a mossy dam, and it was extremely old. One slip, and you were in the water.
I walked off the bridge behind Louis and the girls, and when niall got off behind me he came up beside me.
He slipped his hand into mine and I blushed really badly.
"Why do you wear so much makeup?" He mutters, so the others couldn't hear.
"Because I need it" I mutter back, refusing to look at him.
"No you don't" he says, squeezing my hand.
"Well, I've heard otherwise. "
"You're beautiful, and whoever doesn't realise that must be crazy, because you're beyond beautiful" he says.
"Niall, I've never been able to trust people with thier compliments"
"You can trust me" he replies straight away.
I blush, with no reply.
We keep on walking, and I'm still holding Nialls hand. I listen to the girls flirting with Lou and to be honest, it's kind of cute.
I listen and listen, and it starts to get full on.
We decide to take a path that goes towards a waterfall, and we could go swimming in our underwear.
When we got there, we sat on some rocks and dangled our feet in the water chatting about the camp.
I sat away from niall, to separate the girls from Louis so we could actually have a decent conversation. Then niall drops his jeans and takes off his shirt, and jumps into the crystal clear water. I stood up and stripped into my bra and undies and jumped behind him.
The water was cool and refreshing, and the sand in between my toes was relaxing. I swam over to niall behind a boulder where no one could see us.
