I woke up to the soft rocking of Nialls hand on my shoulder.
"Were here" he whispered.
I quickly smile and look around to see a beach, with a rather long pier. It was beautiful, with the waves crashing on the rocks.
"Let's go" he mutters.
We'd walked up the pier and were now right at the edge, dangling our feet over the water watching the waves crash onto the pillars.
I heard Nialls phone buzzing against the old wooden boards that were the pier.
He checks the caller and replies "sorry, I have to take this"
He gets up and walks away but I can't just slightly hear his conversation.
"Hey"
"Yeah, thanks"
"I'm fine, you alright? you sound worse"
"Oh, ok"
Then suddenly there was a pause
"Guess what" he paused again. "She said yes"
Immediately I felt like someone had punched me in the stomach with marshmallows and fluffy morning pillows.
"Shut up!" he said playfully, and I could sense that smile he put on when he blushed.
"Ok, I have to go"
"Yeah, bye"
He then pauses and comes back to sit with me again.
"Who was that?" I ask, as he puts his arm around me.
"Just Mum"
