Forgotten- a Niall Horan fanfiction

Puppy dog eyes

There was only four days left until we all go home and go back to school.

Ofcourse I will miss Shannon an Liam, but I will definitely miss Niall the most.

"I have a surprise for you" niall says after we had finished rock climbing.

"Niall! You know I hate surprises!"

"That's why it's cute" he grins, putting the blindfold over my eyes as I put on my puppy dog face. "Must. Resist. The face."

I walk all over the place with Niall guiding me, until we halt to a stop.
"Ok, you can take the blindfold off"

I release the blindfold with a smile to see the waterfall where we had out first make-out. We hadn't visited in weeks, and I really wanted to come back before I left. But it wasn't exactly the surprise I was hoping for.

I had a huge grin on my face as I looked at the crystal clear water.
"Niall! It's great!" I say, looking up to his proud face.

"I bet your wondering why I brought you such a crap surprise..." He says with a grin.

"No I wasn't-"

"Yes you were!" he giggles, cutting me off.

"Alright then, I was"

"Just wait here" he says, and we both look into the water hand in hand.

The memories we had here were my favourite. This was where we spent most of our time alone when we ran away from the camp activities, and in the middle of the night when everyone was asleep.

"It's almost here" niall mumbles.

I couldn't help but to wonder what my surprise was, but I hope it was something I like.

Suddenly, I see Liam on a little dinghy come from around the boulders.

"Niall, what are you up to-"

I stop, as I see one of the cutest things I have ever seen hiding in Liam's lap. It was a German shepherd Puppy, and it was only about 6 inches tall.

"Niall!" I yell, as a tear drops from my face.

I look up to his face, and he looks the happiest I think I've ever seen him.

Liam comes over in his little Dinghy and plops the little Puppy onto the ground where it plays in the water banks.

I run up to it and pick it up, and it's surprisingly light. It's brown fur was soft and adorable, but it's face was the part that had me crying.

"Niall! It's adorable!" I cry, snuggling the puppy in my arms. He seemed happy, and he just watched as I fell inlove with this dog.

Niall knew I had always wanted a dog, and he knew my family said I could only get a German shepherd because of our farm, but they were too expensive.

"What's its name?" I ask.

"You get to decide her name" he says, unable to stop smiling.

"It might take a while!" I laugh.

"We don't have that long!" he giggles, petting the dogs back in my arms.

"How about... Lucy?"

"I love it, Babe" he smiles.

"Lucy it is!" I say, patting her back.

I look into Nialls eyes, covering my mouth, still in shock. "I love it..." I whisper.
He doesn't speak, he just hugs me.
Niall, Lucy and I were stuck in a group hug that I never wanted to end.

"Brooke?" niall says, pulling out of the hug.

"Yeah, babe?"

"I..." He pauses, and twiddled his thumbs "I love you"

I start to cry even harder, and I can't help but to place the dog on the ground.

I look him in the eyes, and I kiss him. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him with all of the energy I had left in me.

As we pulled out, I whispered in His ear "I love you too"

And the grin didn't leave his face once.

"Yaaaay!" Liam cheered from the dinghy.

"Shut up, Liam" niall giggles before planting another kiss on my cheek.
