When I woke up this morning, after I was ready for school, I was surprised that Gabriel was waiting for me on the patio.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him, not looking at him but locking the door.

"I was waiting for you, I'm going to drive you to school." He smiles, teeth and everything.

"I never agreed."

"You don't have to. Come on, before the bus arrives." He started to walk down the walkway to his white BMW.

I sighed before following him. He even opened the door for me and closed it after. Gabriel got in as well.

"Don't you know how to drive?" Gabriel asks while starting the engine, and putting the car into drive.

"I do, I have my license. I just don't have a car." I groan.

"Ah, I see." He begins to drive to our school.

Silence falls between us but I break it. "Why did you say you liked me already?" I stare out the front windshield.

"Well, I like your hostility, your hair is different," he reached over and twirled a strand of it. "You can play the violin like a goddess!"

I half smiled towards him. "No one's ever liked me before."

"Then, they're just judging you when they actually don't know you." Gabriel pulls into a parking space and puts the car in park. He takes the keys out and opens the door as do I.

"Let me hold your backpack for you. It's the least I can do." He pleads.

"You're already holding yours, I can hold mine. I'm fine." I shoo him away.

"You're already holding your case, let me hold your bag."

"Fine." I slip off my backpack, and hand it over for him.

He mouths 'thank you,' and we walk together in the school.

Some people start to stare at us. I return a glare, and they start whispers that are inaudible to me. I don't get why people just have to stick their noses in people's business.

Gabriel walks me to my locker, and I do my combination and take my backpack from him. I grab my textbooks, and close my locker. "Well, I'll be going."

"I'll see you in biology, chemistry, lunch, then math. See you later, Blake." He grins.

I return the smile, and walk off to my class.

The bell rings, and the whole class stands and leaves. We had a substitute, so why be dismissed correctly? However, I did see- and talk- to Gabriel in my classes.

I make my way to the cafeteria and take my seat at my usual table. As expected, Gabriel takes a seat across from me.

He smiles at me, and I return it. "Hello, beautiful." He compliments.

"Hello, Gabriel." I reply.

"Do you want to go out tonight? I know this really cool place in the promenade." He asks.

"I mean, like, just friends right?"

"Sure, unless you want it to be more."

"I don't think so, I'm not interested in relationships...or you, like that."

"Oh, sugar, I'll get you to love me." Gabriel winked.

I chuckled slightly, and stood up. "Come on, let's get lunch."

He nodded as he stood up.

Free period. I always spent it alone, in the music room, playing my violin, with absolutely no one around.

Now, I was spending it with the popular boy, in the music room, playing the violin for him. He truly liked my talent.

"You're amazing at this, Blake." He clapped his hands after I finished playing Für Elise.

"Thanks." I smiled, packing up my violin.

"The bell's about to ring." He pointed to the clock.

Blake, you can do this. I can do this. "Listen, about what you said at lunch. Yes, I'll go to the place with you tonight."

"Really?" He stands up from sitting on a desk. "Great! Is seven thirty fine?"

"Yes, that's fine, Gabriel."

The bell rings, and Gabriel holds my violin for me. We walk out together then to our lockers, luckily, our lockers are close to each other. His is four lockers down from mine.

Gabriel hands me my violin, and goes to his locker while I go to mine. I place my textbook in its place, and take my backpack and swing it over my shoulders. I close my locker, and I see Stephanie all over Gabriel.

Her hands on his chest, her leg around his waist, her skirt was lifting up because of her leg; and some parts of her panties were showing.

Gabriel caught glimpse of me, and he said a couple words to Stephanie. She looked a bit confused when he walked over to me. "Hey, you ready?"

"Yeah." We both gave each other half smiles.

Gabriel drove me home, leaving me to get ready. I opened the front door of my home. "Dad, I'm home!"

Vincent turns his head from the living room, sitting on the couch. "Dad went to the grocery store, he'll be home shortly. Who dropped you off?" He asks.

"Someone from my classes, Vincent. Nothing to worry about." I reply.

"This someone, they're not a boy, are they?"

"He is." I smirk, and run up the stairs into my room.

I lay out an outfit containing a white t-shirt, ripped black jeans, and my black Converse. I grab a towel, and head into the shower...

My first time hanging out with a friend. I didn't think this day would ever come when I would be going out.
