Epilogue/Author's Note

One year later

In case you are curious, I thought I would explain what the characters are up to now. It has been a year and a lot has happened. Shall we take a look?

First let me start by saying that as hard as the hospital staff fought to save Anya, she did not last through the night.

Jin was extremely depressed for a while, and even quit work as a police officer. Jungkook tried his best to console his hyung, and about four months later Jin was able to go out in public. He received grief counseling which helped him immensely. Instead of returning to work at the police station, he dedicated his time to opening a little restaurant. Cooking had always been a side passion of his (when he had time) and the success of the restaurant helped him cheer up. Today he is the proud owner of Mama Jin's Diner. (Mama Jin was a nickname given to him by Kookie).

Jungkook for his part was more than ever determined to become a worthy officer, and through a lot of hard work was able to become a Sergeant. He even has a girlfriend (a barista he met one day at a coffee shop)! They are in a happy relationship.

Now as for Minha, she turned out surprisingly well. She was extremely grief stricken after Yoongi's death, and often had nightmare flashbacks to the day of his death. Lucky for her, her new boyfriend was extremely understanding and held her every night until she fell asleep. He loved her with all his heart, and through that love, she was able to heal. Hoseok is really the biggest blessing she ever received. He helped her stop having nightmares all the time, and even quit his gang to take care of her! He got a job at a grocery store, and paid for their living expenses until Minha was well enough to get a job of her own. She now works at a department store selling makeup. She has a real passion for makeup, and her career seems promising. Also, she and Hoseok are happily engaged.

Also worth mentioning, since it wasn't explicitly stated in the story, Hoseok was the one who shot Jungkook, although Minha still doesn't know that.
