i curl my last strand of hair and take a look in the mirror. "damn babygirl, ya lookin' fine af." i whisper, admiring myself in the mirror. i especially like my little black dress.

"hurry it up emma, we're leaving already." shawn yells out, sounding very annoyed. the party is being held in one of shawn's friend's house, and all the boys already left. but since i take forever to get ready, i made shawn stay behind with me.

i grab my bag and walk down the stairs to shawn. "that dress is too short, go change." he says, crossing his arms. i shake my head while laughing.

"nope, i like it. plus shawn, it's a party! it's time to get slutty!" i joke around, then run to the car as shawn chases after me.

"i swear emma, no hoeing around." shawn laughs, then starts the car and we make our way out. he keeps driving as i jam out to my favorite songs. once we finally arrive, we get out of the car and go inside the house. i am automatically surrounded by a huge crowd, and extremely loud music.

i push through the crowd, hoping to find hayes. after like twenty minutes, my eyes finally landed on him. he was sitting on the couch with a couple of people. i lightly tap his shoulder. and as soon as he sees me, he smiles widely. "hey emma, i'm glad you're finally here." hayes says, standing up and giving me a hug. "uh, you look-um, very nice." he adds, scratching the back of his neck. i blush at his words, causing my smile to get even bigger.

"this is quite the party." i tell him, giggling.

"aha, yea. all thanks to the boys." hayes answers back. "hey, do ya wanna dance?" he asks, nervousness in his voice.

"sure." i answer, grinning from ear to ear. dancing with hayes was the best thing ever. his hands gripped my waist tightly yet soft. his eyes never left mine, and huge smiles were planted on both of our faces. "i'm really glad i came." hayes says, putting a strand of hair behind my ear. he carefully sets his palm on my cheek, and slowly leans in. seconds after, my lips were on his.
