PROLOGUE

Mikey just wants a friend. The kids in every school he's ever gone to have rejected him, leaving him no choice but to be homeschooled. One day, he decides he's had enough of being cooped up in his house and begins a daily routine of visiting the local park.

And on a fateful Tuesday in the middle of May, Mikey Way is approached by his first friend.
