Chapter 5: 2 Weeks

Grace:
I woke up at 6, as I usually do so I can ride my horse, and noticed I was laying on the couch cuddled up to Brantley. I easily slipped out of his arms and went to the bath room. I can back and Brantley was just waking up. "Good morning babe!" He said in his sleepy voice, which is so hot! "Morning!" I kissed him. "What you wanna do today?" I asked. "I gotta get back to Nashville so I can get on the bus and head back on tour." He said standing up and putting his arms around me. "Oh, when will you be back?" "About 2 weeks." 2 weeks? Really I gotta wait 2 weeks after an amazing date last night & this morning? Ugh! Really hate his job right now. "Oh well by the time you get back I'll be done with my finals!" "Awesome! I already can't wait to get back!" He smiled. I love his smile. "Breakfast?" We got up and a round and headed to This local diner for some breakfast. We pulled in and walked in and I seen chase. "Crap. No we can't eat here?" I said turning around and pushing on his chest to walk out of the door. "Why?" Brantley asked. "Chase is over there! If he see's me and finds out I didn't tell him about me and you he'll be mad at me because I canceled plans with him to be with you!" "Fine, I'll hang back and you go see him. You have 5 minutes before I come in!" Okay, I walked in and seen chase and Hannah, "oh hey guys!" I said standing by their table. "Yeah, uh chase can I talk to you outside for a sec?" "Sure?" He got us and came outside with me. "Listen. About last night, I'm sorry. Umm. So Brantley.." "Gilbert!" He interrupted me. "Yeah, Brantley Gilbert.." "No, Brantley Gilbert, right over there." Chase said pointing toward him. "Chase. Stay with me. I went out with Brantley last night." "You what?"

"You what?" I said. "You and Brantley are dating?" "Well, we're not like officially dating. We just had dinner and he crashed at my place last night." Grace said. "Okay. You know what, who you date is up to you, but I want to be his best friend!" Grace just laughed. "Deal!!" She said. "Let's go see him!" She grabbed my hand and we walked over to Brantley. "Oh hey, Chase right!" Brantley said. "Hey, yeah man!" We shook hands. We all talked for a bit when it hit me, Hannah is still inside. "Oh crap. Uh, I gotta eat with Hannah, hey, I'll catch yall later?" "Totally man. We should hang some time!" Brantley said. I walked back in and set down with Hannah and told her everything!

Brantley:
"So, whose Hannah?" I asked Grace. "Chase's new girlfriend. I can't stand her. She thinks she's better than me. I mean. Her parents have some money so she sticks her nose up at everyone. But chase just has money too." Grace explained. We went in and ate breakfast. A couple fans came up to me for pictures and autographs but it wasn't that bad. "Well, I guess it's time to head back to Nash!" I said. "Ugh, fine. I'm gonna miss you and us being together." "I know, but I'll be back soon!" I said. We got in my truck and went to Grace's house. "Here you are ma'am!" As I opened her door. I put my hands around her. "2 weeks!" I said. I kissed her and we just made out for a minute while standing there. 2 weeks. I can't wait to get back!
