EditedRecap: "Why don't you shut up?"
---
"I'm just going to go back to sleep." Jackson mumbled, rubbing his eyes.
Not even bothering to close the door, he walks into his room and pulls the covers over himself.
Tessa sighed quietly and walked back to her room as well, leaving me standing in front of Ajax's door. His door opened and out came the most wonderful couple in the world. Chloe and Ajax. Note my sarcasm. "Bye Chloe."
"Bye Ajax."
Chloe winked at Ajax and it took everything in me to not pounce on her.I glared at her a little trying not to make it too noticeable and she hurried out of the house. I'm pretty sure I must have been noticeable because the corners of Ajax's lip curved up into a smirk. "I-I'm going to go back to my room." I was stuttering like a fool.
"And I'm coming with you." Ajax winked at me.
"What?" I whispered loudly, bewildered.
"You didn't forget the dare, did you? I always keep my promises." Ajax replied simply, rolling on his feet.
"Okay." I mumbled sullenly.
"See? I knew you would come around and see things my way. Now come on sweetheart."
Ajax's arm wrapped around me and I cuddled back into him a little. I do realize it was wrong but he was so warm and besides, my brain was already half asleep. He toddled the both of us to my bedroom and softly laid me down on the bed. I giggled lowly when I felt the sheets tickle my skin. Once he got into my bed, he pulled the little lamp's light switch and it was lights out. Pulling the covers over is, he softly pulled me closer to his body, placing gentle kisses down my neck. "Goodnight, beautiful. Sweet dreams." He whispered into my ear.
Kissing my forehead, his soft breaths lulled me back to sleep.(For the first time in forever, I have updated my book! This is a freaking short chapter but my phone's almost out of battery so sorry. ~Sandy)
