When we finally got to the school. I got off the bus and started walking to the front of the school.

I stopped at the doors because I heard someone yelling for me "Hey,wait up". I turned to see makayla running in my direction

I waited for her to get to me. When she got here I said "what do you want". I realized that came out harsher than I intended. She said "I just wanted to know if you could show me were the office is".

"Sure, come on" I took her hand and walked her inside. We were halfway to the office and i noticed people were staring at me.

I was wondering what they were, then it hit me I was still holding makayla's hand I blushed then let go of her.

We almost made it to the office, almost. Before we got there mark the school bully stopped us. Mark is about six feet tall, and is about 300 pounds (not muscle).

He stopped me and said "would you look at this it's mute" (I never understood that name). I was going to say something but was cut off by Mark "who is that". He pointed to makayla " is that your girlfriend"

"what if she is what are you going to do about it". I thought he was going to hit me, but the bell rang and he walked away. I turned to makayla and she was blushing.

"why are you blushing" I asked her "well you just told that jerk that I was your girlfriend". I didn't realize it at the time, but she was right.

"oh...ah I was just making a point". She gave me a evil smile "and what point would that be".

I was about to answer her, but as luck would have out the principle came out. "Mr. Moulder what are you doing out of class".

I snapped back to reality and turned to him. "hello sir, me I was just showing the new girl to the office. I turned to show him makayla "well I would have to say you did your job, so get to class". I started walking away, then I turned to see makayla walking into the office.

As I kept walking I thought to myself ' i think I might have a crush on makayla'. I quickly knocked that thought out of my head. "come on Jessie get real there is no way in hell she even likes me I need to stop thinking like this" and with that I walked into class.
