Alice's POV
"I can't believe you would just sit there and introduce yourself to me, when you already knew me!" Dad yelled at me, making me flinch.
"I was afraid at the time, dad." I said looking at him with pleading eyes.
"Don't call me dad." He said and walked out of the room, leaving me sitting there with tears now falling down my cheeks.
"Wait! Dad! Please!" I screamed, ripping out my IV tubes and everything else, then ran after him.
I ran after him down the hall screaming his name, but he wouldn't turn around. "Daddy!" I screamed, then fell down, because clearly the IVs were giving me enough strength, and now that thye were out, I could barely walk.
"Daddy.." I croaked out, making him turn around finally, as I watched his face soften, he jogged over to me, and picked me pick bridal style.
"I'm so sorry daddy, I really am, I never meant to hurt you." I sobbed into his chest as he walked me back into my hospital room.
"I know baby.." He whispered, setting me on the bed, then started walking away again. "No, don't go, please. I'm sorry daddy." I said as more tears fell down my cheeks.
"I'm just going to go get your nurse, so she can put your IV line in again." He said walking back voer to me and kissing my head softly, then walked out.
Ashley's POV
I just stood there and lied to her, as I walked out, I walked right past the nurses station, and to the elevator.
I can't believe she just sat there and acted as if she didn't know me, when she clearly did!
It hurt me to get on the elevator, just thinking about her, just thinking that I'm coming back with a nurse, when I'm really just going back to the buses.
I feel like the worst dad...
But she did this to herself.
