I walk into Starbucks and I see Alex at the counter ordering. I walk up behind her as she's ordering her coffee,"And I'll have a Blonde Roast,just add it to her tab." I say.
Alex spins around,"Very funny". She walks away and leaves me there."Whos gonna pay for the drinks" the barista asks me,"I will I guess" I say pulling out my wallet.
I grab our drinks and walk over to the table,"here you go.".
"So why are we here?" Alex ask
"My mom, she said that we have to move to California in a few days."
"OMG!!! You have got to be kidding me. Am I on a hidden camera show or something? you have to be joking!"
I shake my head no, "she said she got a job offer and took it,ever since my dad and everything it's been crazy."
I start to get upset, my dad and now this I can't help it. I get up and start to walk outside to calm down and Alex follows me."Hey.Hey. it okay."she takes my hand and we start to walk. "It's not like I can't visit you in California or you come visit me, we can skype and all sorts if stuff."
"Yea I guess. I'll tell you what lets go do something before I have to go." I say.
"Like what?"
"Let's go to the Aquarium or something."
She nods and smiles."My whole life I've lived here and I've never been there."

"MOTHER!!" I scream
"YEA?"
I walk up to her room
"What do you need. we're leaving in 2 weeks so you need to start packing."
"Alex and I are going to the aquarium this weekend."
"How long are you staying"
"Probably the whole weekend"
She sighed,"Well I'll pack some of your stuff while your gone and you get ready for your trip then."
