"Oh my god, someone shut the buzzing noise." I woke up in a daze and was ready to smash the object that was buzzing so loudly. I looked around and slowly moved to the direction of the sound I squinted my eyes cause it was just too bright and when i finally reached the source which was my phone, I saw it was actually someone who was calling me. Someone from the hospital. Oh shit!

"Umm yea hello?" I answered hoping that I didn't forget there was some sort of meeting I was supposed to go to or worst. I was supposed to tend to a patient.

"Yes, Miss Sanchez, hoping that I'm not disturbing you, but could you come down to the hospital later in a few hours? We need to run a few things by you for tomorrow.

I silently thanked god that I hadn't missed out on something important. "Yes yes no problem! I'll be there at 3, is that ok?" I really needed a nap before i dropped down on my way there.

"Alright see you later Miss Sanchez." I slowly made my way to my room since I apparently had collapsed onto the sofa last night with Leah taking the other sofa. She was totally knocked out though. After we got off the platform yesterday I remembered that Leah showed the middle finger to some random dudes in a booth and also we had more drinks with a few people.

I shed off the dress and jumped into the bed not caring about the fact I was still in my undergarments. I had already set the alarm for 2 o' clock so i had enough time to shower and grab some coffee at the nearby cafe. I snuggled under my thick duvet and they rest of the world just slipped away.

"Why why why the hell am I awake so early." I complained to my sister as I slipped on my Ray Bans.

"It's already 2.30 in the afternoon Mark and you have to go over your script for tomorrow." my sister ignored my whining and continued reading the newspaper.

We were at this cozy cafe called Joe's cafe. "Why do I need to go over it? Wait, how do they even get tomorrow's new today?" I continued bugging her with my annoying questions.

"Look, just cause you and Tom had a wild night yesterday, does not mean you get to whine about your responsibilities. Besides, you were the one who told me to not let you slack." she said looking at me like I was a small child.

"Ok, ok, don't get your undies in a twist!" I grinned at her and she playfully smacked me with the news paper.

I loved walking down my street, be it to work or to the subway or wherever. It just had that happy feeling. I know I was hungover from last night, so I put on my new sunglasses and I was dressed in simple jeans and a knit top with my jacket on top. It was starting to get chilly in New York and I couldn't wait till it started to snow.

As I walked to the nearby cafe I couldn't help but notice how much I've missed since I moved here. When I moved in few months back, there was a construction happening in the nearby place. I never knew what they were doing, and it turned out to be a new bookshop. As i passed by, i noticed how nice the inside looked.

I decided when I was free, god knows when that will be, I'd visit it. One of my favourite past times was reading. I think I might just start collecting books again. People passed by me and they smiled. Which was very refreshing because usually I ran into rude people who either though if I smiled at them I was a freak who wanted something from them.

Finally I reached the cafe and the instant I walked in , the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled my nose, and if it wasn't for the sunglasses which I still had on, my eyes would have looked like they were about to pop out from their sockets cause I was totally wide awake now.

I ordered a nice hazelnut flavoured hot coffee. While waiting I browsed through the magazines wihch were nicely stocked at a corner. Just then, something or rather someone caught my eye. He was sitting outside on the patio. He was obviously, good looking and with good looking guys come good looking girls who sit next to each other on a perfect Sunday morning. Oh my god I'm such a lifeless person.

I grab my coffee from the counter and decided that maybe looking wouldn't hurt right? Not like I'm disrupting their relationship? I grabbed a magazine as a cover up and sat at at table inside which had a fairly good view of him. I could only see his profile but man that was good enough! He had a perfectly chiseled face, lovely set of thick black hair which was just screaming out for someone's finger to run through them. My fingers were starting to itch just by looking at his hair. I could tell his body was perfectly toned and not forgetting the fact that he was pretty tall.

Him and his girlfriend were obviously perfectly matched cause since the time I was watching them, they were constantly smiling at each other and talking so happily. For all i know they're already married. I got up and me being the clumsy nut I am had to knock over my coffee. It obviously was all over the place and everyone stared at me like I was an idiot which I am and yes I could feel those two outside unfortunately looking at me. I tried so hard not to turn around. I just walked out of the shop in a hurry not forgetting to tip the cleaner boy.

I loved spending time with my sister cause we were close and when growing up she was always there for me. We had an unbreakable bond which fades away with mos siblings.

"Will you ever settle down and maybe make me becoma an aunt so I can spoil some other kids who are not my children? I've always wanted to be the cool aunt." she asked me.

"Well, I'd have to find that certain girl who will make me drop down to my knees and beg for her to love me back." I answered her with confidence.

"Oh.. don't be so full of yourself Mark. It's New York CIty. Not all the girls running around here will fall at your feet. It's not my fault all you ever choose are those model girls who think they will be the next Gisele. When you find her, she'll be at your level of smartness and you won't even know what hit you when you do find her."

It was like she was so confident. "Wait a second, is that what happened to Ben? You changed him?"

"Actually it wasn't to the point where he had to beg me on his knees but you know me, I make sure I'm getting the right thing. Not all talk and no action you know? And by that i mean action not only in what he does, but also in bed."

"EEWW WHAT? WHY WHY WHY DID YOU HAVE TO TELL ME THAT?!" I spat out my coffee and she started to laugh.

"I'm just being honest lil bro. But I'm pretty sure that she's gonna make you beg so hard you'll be out of your mind."

Before I could reply her, it seemed to be that something had happened inside the cafe. Someone had spilled coffee all over the floor .

Not just anyone but a girl. She seemed pretty familiar. I remember seeing that gorgeous blonde hair from somewhere. But where? My brain was taking so long to find out who. I was scanning and scanning and it clicked! It was her! it was the girl at the club!

"It's her! It's her!" I whispered

"What? who? Mark?" my sister asked in a confused state.

She was starting to leave the cafe and I needed to see how she looked. I quickly moved through the sliding doors and she was already out the door. As soon as i got out, she was already long gone. All i saw was just her tall figure walking down the street as she took a turn down the block.

Damn, I lost her.
